Honestly I think most clubs would only take him as a 14 utility bench player..

It would be very dumb in the short term. That’s a halves pairing for 28, not 27. AD still has an important role to be the bridge until 28 comes.

This is a blessing in disguise trust me, he as I have said before should be nowhere near the halves, 13 or piss off. He has failed at centre and fullback, and he is one more injury away from retirement. Plus he is a me, me character.

It shows a fair bit of the character of a person that he thinks he is too good to do what the coach feels is best for the team. He would be more than aware of the hurt this would cause the club in a number of ways.

JL has only acted with class in every response over the last 3 weeks. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to release Adam if he requests it now as we have cut ties with JL and would not have the halves depth.

Benji is out of his depth. This just highlights the fact that no one respects him and they're happy to tell him to his face. So glad the club extended Benji after everyone was chasing him.. 4 years straight he'll have missed the finals with an even worse squad next year.

Take into account we have a board overseeing all final decisions on player and coach contracts and you have a complete and utter basket case of a club. Business as usual
