What happens in 27 then? Idk how anyone can think Latu/Andrews is a good idea. Maybe if Latu had more footy under his belt and played a substantial number of games at 7. But he’s just as green as Andrews.

Andrew’s I think will,be he real deal Latu I’m still on the fence but to his defence hasn’t played half this year really , been shoved around in lock , hooker etc which I find bizarre , we needed to probably grab the dude that went to manly from raiders , name skips me now , but he would have been good this year and next , AD moved to half I feel as we just didn’t have a decent one

Cant go anywhere this season. He needs to play because he has only damaged his own rep and his value just went down. Ill be surprised if he is not moved on before the start of next season.

Not sure moving from an assistant role to another assistant role would be appealing, especially considering he’d be likely to take over from Mal as head coach in due course.

Pat Richards was also at the meeting.
I reckon there’s been something brewing since December 25. We wouldn’t see 7 players considering to explore their options, if the coach was sacked, unless there was a real chance of that happening.
But rather than getting sacked he was given a very good extension.
Doueihi was also given a new contract from March this year.
Could the source of the friction be coming from the usual places? Our HBG board and a certain player manager?

AD plays 7 rest of year with Latu giving him a spell , and mosses is currently looking for a new home for him in 2027 , I think this would be the outcome to suite all , AD gets time to find a new team , we bring Latu in off bench for AD every game , could do the same with Andrew’s and Luai , we most likely won’t win another game so bleed the kids gently instead of full game flogging

Why would Benji again select the player who is not a halfback in that position, and especially so when Adam took his ball home last week when he finally cut his losses by moving him?

Any other player that supports what Doueihi did can play for Magpies in KOE too.

Hope your right, but just see how the dressing room is anything other than fractured. If im Benji i punt both Luai and Douhi now. Bring Madden in dont care if we lose by 100, we are anyway. Get rid of both the problems now. Andrews 5/8 and Latu 7 starting once Latu gets back from suspension heading into pre season. Hit the market for another 7 or 5/8 for depth. Just rip the bandaid off. Half tge group are off Luai apparently. Once he goes the other half will still be off Douehi next year. Bugger tgem both off.

Should rip the Benji band-aid off now as well. If he's sacked part way through next season it's just one more drama.

No matter how you look at it any competent operator would be making plans atm just in case. Hoping they never need to turn to them.

I don’t know how any professional sporting club allows a player back in after sitting out a game when fit. The only explanation I have is his contract is attractive for a good half and they see a swap to a Sydney based club as being the best option which will happen in the offseason.

I don’t get it the season is done since the manly game this only does more damage. Must admit we provide good theatre. If they turn it around with AD in the team or put I would be shocked.
