Opinions on this signing? Assume it's to replace ET+Lawrence & some competition for Twal & Sloth at lock. Definitely believe to would add some grunt create a pretty dangerous pack with Stefano, Blore, Mik, Garner, Aloiai, McIntyre & the less angry Leilua.*italicised text*

Would be a solid back rower off the bench and can cover lock if need be. Would be a good pickup, wouldn’t cost a lot and he leads the way for bulldogs which is the exact attitude Madge loves. Makes a lot of sense IMO

Isnlt rated by many of his own supporters. This comment resonates 'he stands out because our team is poor. Put him in a good team and he comes right back to his ability.'

Ife we are looking at him we are in trouble.

if Canberra are sniffing around him I think he'd have to have some quality about him. look at their recruitment in the past 3-4 years, they don't miss a beat.

I'd say because he originates from the Far South Coast of NSW, the Rauders believe he is a good chance.

Yep.
I'll take any player that has a dig and he certainly does that, I think he can change a few little things in his game and be a handy player.

I like it. The guy gets stuck in and has a real crack, especially in a constantly beaten side. he has a bit to his game other than just hit ups and tackles.

Dogs fans are just looking for people to tar and feather right now.

He would be a 80 minute workhorse for us. He is the type of player Madge loves. Matty Johns is always rapping him. Excellent buy, but will be in big demand. I get the feeling he will certainly leave the Dogs unless they throw silly money at him

And this needed it's own thread because...?

Probably the originator thought it needed to be flown in over the top, just like a helicopter.

I don't mind Elliott certainly has a dig every week but would he start and play big minutes over Twal Leilua or Garner who barring injury look to be Maguire's back row preference..

Elliott would be after decent coin just to be a bench player given we have Eisenhuth and McIntye who can do that job as well

Signing suggestions and rumours thread?

Isn’t that the general discussion thread?

Similar to the politics thread

Trash talk

The more concerning point in the story was Benji hasn't decided if he is going around again next year, seriously if he can't decide to retire, he needs a tap on the shoulder, we don't need this press
