He would be a 80 minute workhorse for us. He is the type of player Madge loves. Matty Johns is always rapping him. Excellent buy, but will be in big demand. I get the feeling he will certainly leave the Dogs unless they throw silly money at him

I don't mind Elliott certainly has a dig every week but would he start and play big minutes over Twal Leilua or Garner who barring injury look to be Maguire's back row preference..

Elliott would be after decent coin just to be a bench player given we have Eisenhuth and McIntye who can do that job as well

He is a 13, and Twal would play prop

Opinions on this signing? Assume it's to replace ET+Lawrence & some competition for Twal & Sloth at lock. Definitely believe to would add some grunt create a pretty dangerous pack with Stefano, Blore, Mik, Garner, Aloiai, McIntyre & the less angry Leilua.*italicised text*

The more concerning point in the story was Benji hasn't decided if he is going around again next year, seriously if he can't decide to retire, he needs a tap on the shoulder, we don't need this press

I agree. We have Reynolds for next year anyway and Mbye can fill in a pinch. Pretty sure Momo played in the halves in juniors too, Madden is also on the horizon.

The money we would have spent on Marshall can be used elsewhere.

Yep.
I'll take any player that has a dig and he certainly does that, I think he can change a few little things in his game and be a handy player.

Great value for end of season

Not this season. He’s just about to have a shoulder reco.

I’d tread carefully with players coming off injuries. You don’t know how they are going to recover. We don’t want another McQueen. Granted McQueen’s injury happened after we signed him.

If Benji doesn’t play again this year I think it’s obvious.

Would be a very good depth signing, plenty of grit and experience, certainly no game-buster though.

He certainly isn't, but I see in him the same thing that I saw in Heighington....he'll do the 1% stuff and every club needs a player or three like that

I dont think garner is there yet tbh he makes alot of mistakes

Yeah i'm not sure about Garner either. Was a fan when he came up to first grade but I think he's been a bit disappointing this year.

I don't think he'd be asking depth $ though. He'll be asking for a fair bit.

Being moved to the right hurt his game a little but he is slowly improving and getting more involved. Reynolds needs to play short to him a little more often, he doesn’t really have the skill brooks has of putting people through holes

He is also a hog like Heighno.

Because he hung onto the ball the other night a Dogs try went begging.

No thanks, and we don't need some dope taking his clothes off whenever, to show is inadequate goodie off.

That’s something that can easily be coached out of his game.

As for the video incident it was 5 years ago and everyone that knows him constantly talks about how professional he is and what a good bloke he is. You can’t let one minor thing turn you off someone forever

Hopefully all this Elliott talk is about boosting his contract value. He's not overly big or fast. I would much prefer us to chase one of the young Bronco standouts than Elliott.

It’s only ‘early inquiries’ which could just mean figuring out how much money he’s asking for. Madge always says a good coach is always looking around and talking to players so I’m sure we will do the same for a lot of other players in the coming month.

Brendan Pakura ex Keebra Park and Aust Schoolboys. Apparently there are clubs chasing him.
