AFTER THE LAST GAME , it wont be too long before we'll be saying
we cant wait for the first game and that we've had enough of preseason.

Arrgghh!! the rollercoaster of preseason will be upon us once again.
We're signing him , no we're not , yes we are, I read this , I heard that.
The joys of being a rugby league fan.
Sometimes you wanna just pack it up and turn your back on the whole
thing but the heart just keeps you coming back for more year in year out
no matter what you are dealt as a fan.

After the final game of the year for the past 10 seasons... I've always had quite an empty feeling.
Its usually a loss, sometimes with a finals spot on the line
The thing I notice most is the silence from the club.
I know there's not much they can say... It's all fluff and spin anyway.
I read passionate comments here days after a loss, people are still hurting yet see footage of players a day or two after even moments after the siren laughing joking with old mate seemingly unaffected.
They used to have a piss up to celebrate their failed season... Images of players enjoying themselves dressing up getting smashed making the failed season even harder for the passionate supporter... Those I read on here.
It's like the club just slinks away tail between legs better to say nothing lest infuriate those passionate fans even further... Let the anger subside for a few weeks before commenting on NEXT YEAR.... always next year.

Imagine if Melbourne had a failed season. They wouldn't even have an off season.
There is no dedication in turning things around, just rock up and you get ur pay.
Accountability needs to be our slogan next year from the top all the way down.

I get what you are saying, but every club does Mad Monday, whether they make the 8 or not. It’s just part of the culture of the game. Its not a reflection on the club.

I get mad most Mondays after the Wests Tigers have played.

Hopefully the first thing they do is be honest with themselves.
It’s time to draw a line in the sand, stand tall, be accountable and dedicate themselves to increasing the value and importance this club places on winning.
The above is exactly what they haven’t done for a decade.

Hopefully they are honest with the fans. It would be something if they shared the outcomes from the end of season review.

After today I will sit back and have months of Wests Tiger’s stress free weekends until the next season starts and the stress comes back again. Although to be honest, the stress gets less the more we lose because there are no more expectations.

Really can’t wait for all the platitudes of how the boys are training the house down and how tight this group of players are.

If the coach (whoever it is) doesn’t spend all preseason doing defensive drills then we are in for another sorry year.
