For what reason would you come out and say you have information, but not be prepared to tell the story that you have or reveal the source.
As far as I'm concerned player agents are not trustworthy, nor is Johns or the Mole. This is just another case of look at me.
It's just like me saying a mate of mine, who is also a mate of a player agent, just received and then passed on to me a picture of Johns, holding something in his mouth (which I can't say to much) from one of the experts you hear calling games. Now who could it be.

I hated Tallis as a footballer mainly because he played for Brisbane and Qld ( although in reality I respected him as a brilliant footballer). Now that he is in the media I really like the guy - his comments are always based on fact or personal perception which he acknowledges - he doesn't get in the gutter like a lot of others and questions the validity of rumours. Good on ya Gordie.

player managers have their own agendas. i'd be leaning toward him receiving a misinformed/deceitful text than making it up himself.

there are claws out within the club, the same people didn't want him here last year but his performance warranted an extension….

So I take it you believe Johns. You believe the text exists. So you believe the story he came up with, without revealing anything. Of course I don't expect him to name names, but he knows that to. He's stirring the pot, do you believe that. Do you believe in the tooth fairy.

Still reckon this could be a set up with Farah and Johns trying to get the Tigers up for the rest of the season

Especially if Potter's job is safe , Potter loses nothing and the players are foaming at the mouth about their coach getting bagged

As I said in the other thread , coaches have done this before

As they say , the club that has that extra 1 % in passion , hard work and enthusiasm in a game usually wins if they play well

if any of you idiots bothered to listen to the clip johns goes on to say he'll judge a coaches ability on their results and thinks potter is doing a great job

I feel as though Matty has always been pretty fair with us. When we do well he gives us a wrap and when we're struggling he calls it out. Aside from the Farah interview a few years back, he's never been unfair at all.

On the subject of Potter, I think Sunday showed the players want him. We were lead to believe they were playing for him, and they played out of their skins.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a player, possibly not even a regular first grader that feels potter is holding him back, who's manager may know matt Johns and did send the stupid text to help his cause. Troll boy Johns is just doing a "favour" . Otherwise it's not even worth saying really. ☺

I certainly agree with what you say about journalists and sources, however what Matty Johns does is not journalism.
