AI in RL

Interesting article (and please refrain from the obvious jokes, IF you can )... ;-)

Seems like it is being applied across performance, health, even impacting scouting and recruitment. In the past, identifying promising talent relied heavily on the subjective judgment of scouts. Today, AI algorithms can process vast amounts of data on players, evaluating everything from in-game performance to physiological traits. This data-driven approach is enabling (Rugby Union) and NRL teams to uncover hidden gems and recruit players more strategically. Further, the NRL leverages AI for enhancing game broadcasts. Advanced analytics provide viewers with deeper insights into the game, breaking down complex plays and strategies in a way that enriches the viewing experience.
(Probably makes a lot of former players "instant experts" at pushing buttons on large screens too! ;-) "

To quote the final words "AI is not here to replace the essence of rugby but to amplify it, ensuring that the game we love continues to evolve and inspire for generations to come."
Nevetheless, yet another example of the expansion of AI. Love it or hate it, it is here to stay. I wonder also if clubs will use to evaluate coaches effectivess? Time will tell - if it hasn't already.
