I thought we was OK against the Cowboys in comparison to previous efforts. He's an average player getting killed by this idea of 'eyes up footy'.

He plays with his heart and not his head, and just needs to be given some really simple instructions to concentrate on. He has little awareness, he's not the kind of player you tell to 'play their own game'. You tell him to get the ball, carry it properly, and if you can give it to someone in a orange shirt who can play. You can have 2 offloads a game and if you get that right for 3 games you can have an extra one.

What would you tell him to do if you were his coach.? Apart from sit on the bench or NSW cup etc

Control you aggression but try to sting people out there. With and without the ball. And you’re not a ball player,

There's nothing you can tell him. He just doesn't have what it takes.

He’s just a product of where we are as a club and where we are on the ladder. You are bound to have average players as regular first graders.

One of his best games for a while. I would tell him to run to the gaps. He did it once.

He is the type of player every team has but it's about how you use him.

You can't give him the ball on 4th or 5th tackle where he's forced to make a decision or in a situation where we have to score tries. You can't expect him to break a tackle and offload or get a quick PTB.

I don't mind him on the edge or in the middle either, but he needs to simplify his job:
1. kick chase, he MUST be behind the kicker every 5th tackle and lead the kickchase
2. Decoys, I don't know the numbers but he needs to keep running lines and decoys around Bula/ Mason. More often, I feel he's not even an option because he isn't in the frame.
3. He will partner with either Mason or Latu on that side. He has to be the one communicating. To'a is horrible with decision making in defence as well. Turuva and Seyfarth need to guide the defence there.

I don't care if he's taken 5 runs for 40m all game or if he's touched the ball 10 times all game. His responsibility are those three things and he needs to get better at all of them.

Seyfarth is a real goer. Hard working player and a good athlete at his size. Lacks game awareness, errors and bad defensive reads on an edge. Mason and Seyfarth will become excellent bench players in short bursts. He should not be starting at second row.

He has good scramble defence. His contact is getting a little better. Still missing heaps of tackles. Non-existent in attack although did have a hand in a try.

I remember a few years ago, Sam Mcyntire walking off at half time, head covered in blood. He was in no hurry to get back in and get it cleaned up.

2 runs for 17m, one of the runs being from dummy half.

This tells us that either Seyfarth has the self-awareness that he's a liability with the ball or his fellow players have totally lost confidence in him and refuse to give him the ball except on pre-planned plays.
Either way we can't keep playing with 12 men.

On here the delusion remains strong with his zombie followers who want to give him "flowers" for effort.
That's like congratulating a husband for not beating his wife, it's the expected bare minimun.
