Aliens.

@Tigerboy **I have no doubt that aliens exist**, ie life on other planets. However, it is highly doubtful that they have ever come to Earth.

Really? How could you possibly be so sure?

Surprised the people vehemently criticising fellow forumers who believe in God haven’t jumped onto this, but I guess it’s alright to believe that aliens exist.

If it has happened once (us) in such a large and possibly infinite universe, it is likely it has happened multiple times

It’s funny to see how people react to the overwhelming unknown.. I love seeing everybody’s inherent differences and talent in observing/interacting with their world in a unique way. I certainly have faith that extra terrestrial (alien) life exists. No doubt whatsoever; in my mind

I think maybe our world is one of God's failed attempts - universe could be full of them.

That's what happens when you give people free will. Lol

Wonder if they play rugby league on any other planets

Maybe they haven't heard how bad the WT's are ......could start recruiting aliens

Probably leave us for another planet half way through their contract

Well the AFL are kinda like an alien species and they now have a GF made up of two teams - one sporting yellow/black and a tiger emblem and the other from the WT supposed nursery area sporting orange/black/white! Perhaps we should start supporting the aliens!

The one from our nursery was helped every step of the way last weekend

They'll get lapped tomorrow

One hundred billion galaxies, each with on average a hundred billion stars, each with their own planetary systems. There could be countless intelligent civilisations across the universe. Just because we haven't heard from them, it doesn't necessarily mean it is not there. The distances between us and the neighbouring galaxies are in the millions of light years which mean communications would take immense amounts of time to reach us. We might also be among the first series of intelligent life springing up across the universe.

We won't know for quite a while. We'll need to go looking across our own solar system first for simple/complex life before we start worrying about traversing the galaxy looking for other life as we don't have the means to get there in any reasonable amount of time. I'd be interested to see what lies under the surface of Enceladus, that may hold the answers.

We are one planet, orbiting one star, which is one of about 250,000,000,000 stars in our galaxy alone. It would be totally remarkable that there is no life in any other of those solar systems.

However, there are extraordinary disances between us and all those other solar systems. Even the closest stars are about 4 light years away (40,000,000,000,000 km). If we could travel at the speed of light, it would take 4 years just to get to the nearest star. With current technology it would take many decades to reach. Assuming space travelling aliens would have better technology, it would still take unreasonable times to travel, unless they are able to travel faster than the speed of light.

So that's depressed me . Could be countless intelligent civilisations and here I am stuck on this one.

Given how backward humans can be at times I believe it gives credence to the thought that we could be the first iteration (and highly fault plauged,) of intelligent life.

' just waiting for the planet Krypton to explode so we can sign another Clark..

Take this as how you will but I swear some Asian people are Aliens, pretty sure I saw a few hundred in Tokyo.

So like a beta test? if so where can I log the faults?

Aliens are here already, and have infiltrated our ruling elite.

Gotta admit he's an interesting listen, but he's either lost his marbles bigtime or he's a fantastic charlatan.
