All this Chest Beating?? Much to Prove

moth is an acronym for man on the hill, a banned member here and other official forums, a keyboard hero, foul mouthed piece of work of the like whom I guess sheens refers to when he mentions 'so called fans'.
He is anti sheens yet simon lumps anyone with a similar view on sheens as a moth, thus stupidly putting the guy that goes by this moniker up on some sort of pedestal

Well they all sound the same to me.

Hardly a pedalstal,to me they are whiney little skirts.

Bit like yerself Ink. :astonished:

Thanx Innk.

Simon wouldnt be the first to bracket a group of fans unfairly thats for sure. Many choose to say "you guys" etc, instead of being more specific. Something that bugs me as its often the easy way out when making a point.

 Do YOU Sirro & Innk…enjoy any of it at all...

Mate..... I take every chance to give it to mates when we win....cause I cop heaps when we don't....

All part of the fun isn't it...

Wests Tigers V Dragons especially.....Dragons in the family...It's personal... :smiling_imp:

What are u talking about Geo?

Im not talking about other teams fans. Im talking about "some" wests tigers forum fans who bracket some supporters as a whole when its unfair to do so.

Sirro….my mistake...thought you where having a dig at an earlier post...

Just seems to me that given past failures some fans are just waiting for the wheels to fall of like it's inevitable...always looking at the negative........We've beaten no one...no rep players...Don't deserve our position....etc etc.....

Man just enjoy it I say....

Im certainly not one waiting for the wheel to fall off, im very confident if we dont get many injuries.

But ill still maintain we need a change in certain departments regardless of how good we go.

its up to the team & coaching staff, to ensure wests-tigers play in the finals this year.
all we can do is give our support.
this may sound selfish, but I don't really care if no wests-tigers players get picked for origin, rather have them fit and playing well for the team.
yes getting picked for rep teams is a great honour, I was under the belief, that you play footy to win a premiership, or at worst make the finals.

Well said GEO.

It looked like "some" fans, 20k peeps were enjoying our 'nothing' win at LO on the weekend.

Im really enjoying this year…..great fun.

codebreaker please

I understand what Eddie is saying and he has been pretty spot on in the past (the predicted 5 game streak last year for one) but you can only play who is in front of you, it isn't like we can beat crap teams twice in 80 minutes.

Some people see a glass half full, some see one half empty….doesnt mean both groups dont wish to see it totally full at some stage. They might be described as a realist as opposed to an optimist....gee itd be so awesome if we were all the same huh? :unamused:
Some put themselves above others, see themselves as more of a supporter than others....
Then theres those that just act like 9 year olds, name calling and such

Hello, is there anybody out there?

I did not call the last 4 games nothing wins. I said it is crucial to get these dirty wins in the middle of the season to avoid make or break games later in the season. I praised the team for doing an effective job against lower opposition. Like people have said all you can do is beat the team that is front of you and we have been perfect over the past month. However chest beating, and saying we have been snubbed despite being currently 3rd after 2 byes, and wins over The Knights, Warriors, Raiders and Dogs is a little hasty in my opinion. We have had a bit of a rails run lately (and taken advantage of it very well) however whether our season and these players and coaches are judged as a success or failure will be determined by where we stand at the end of the regular season.

I just don't think our coach and our players should be getting carried away. Its good that Sheens is supporting his players cause and good for the players to have ambition. But i would rather them come out and say we are concentrating on cementing our spot in the finals for the first time in 5 seasons, an d then the benefits will come from there. The Likes of Farah, Lawrence, Galloway, Heightington, Gibbs and co have a much much stronger case for inclusion in these teams should be a consistent Top 8 side. Just like Sheens has a much more valid reason for a contract etensions should he finish in the Top half. We have been a very mediocre and ultimately unsuccessful organisation the past 4 seasons, so shouting from the roof tops for rep players, and howling people who bag the Tigers is not really warreated in my opinion. At least it lacks merit based on fact.

Finishing the job for the first time in 5 seasons should be the priority. We have played looked like a determined and focused group for most of the season. Just want that to continue.,

It still doesn't alter the fact that some non-performing teams seem to get preferential treatment when it comes to Origin selections.

Agree that we didnt deserve players at the start of Origin, but now there should be a few in line.

They are in form and the NSW team isnt.

WHy would anyone have issues with Sheens backing our boys to play at the next level, they sure are good enough.

And you can cry all you like about Sheens haters getting howled down. But they have been way over the top and deserve plenty….and these same howlers have been pretty quiet, some have surfaced with a big game looming, funny that.

If we lose will there be"I told you we werent that good' coming up??

I enjoy all our wins, doesn't matter who we play (it could be the Dubbo Dingbats for all I care), but Eddie does raise a valid point about our upcoming games. Given who we are playing, we definately need to "Step Up" (would make a good marketing campaign!!) and continue on our winning roll.

Completely agree.

Why anyone wants any of our players in the current shit Origin side, with the current shit coach and current shit selectors is beyond me. I want them playing for us, not getting belted by QLD and missing important games in the lead up to the finals.

If Farah, Lawrence etc. should get picked for Origin, let it be next year after a big fat broom has swept away all the garbage that is currently associated with NSW.
