5/04/2012 7:31:43 PM
Leading independent logistics company Allied Express has today signed a new lower back of jersey sponsorship with Wests Tigers for the next three years.
A long time Club sponsor, Allied Express have increased their involvement with Wests Tigers this year after previously occupying the back of jersey of the NYC team and sponsorship of the coaching staff.
The Allied Express logo will feature for the first time on the back of the NRL jersey at the annual Good Friday match between Wests Tigers and Brisbane Broncos at Allianz Stadium.
Managing Director Michelle McDowell said Allied Express were delighted to feature prominently on the Wests Tigers NRL jersey.
“Allied Express and Wests Tigers have enjoyed a wonderful partnership over many years and we are excited about this new opportunity for our company,’’ she said.
“Like Wests Tigers, Allied Express strive to be the very best in our field. Allied Express is the largest, independently owned courier and express freight company in Australia with offices in all major mainland capitals.
“Our fleet of over 1000 vehicles covers the entire country with a comprehensive range of fast, efficient express freight transport services ranging from the inner city bicycles to line-haul vehicles.
“In fact, as long as there's a road to it, there isn't a place in this country to which we can't deliver, or from where we can't pick-up. But, like many successful express freight companies, it's what we do beyond the courier service we advertise that sets us apart and defines us.”
Wests Tigers CEO Stephen Humphreys said Allied Express is a terrific Australian business success story.
“We are delighted to continue our long standing relationship at an upgraded level,’’ Mr Humphreys said.
“The confidence shown by Allied Express in the Wests Tigers brand is a real boost for our Club and we look forward to delivering them tremendous return on their investment in Wests Tigers.”
