An Embarrassing Bunch Of Bumbling Bafoons!

Our tag line should be 'Pathetic since 2012' seems more appropriate than 'on the bus' unless the bus they are talking about is the 'special' bus than its actually appropriate.

No, the tag line is “Just wait till next year”.

We've had a few in the last 7 years.

'Always next year'
'We're rebuilding…....again'
'Top 4 in 2017'
'Whats a defensive line?'
'IQ over 80 need not apply'

Almost as good as my favourite through the halcyon days of 2006-2009

'The Johnny Cronk era'

Very disappointing. I had high hopes of that performance. I ended up having to turn it off before I flipped the coffee table in the lounge room.
Twal needs to start every week. Farrah and Lawrence showed lots of heart. Mbye went ok. Reynolds is injured, again. The rest don't deserve a mention.

Halcyon days were 2010-11

….and we still choked

Hey look on page 2 and no-one has blamed the refs, just our bumbling team as one poster put it.

I haven’t seen the game just read this forum and on Twitter but I made a comment in the first half about our poor completion rate. Seems the second half was even worse.

De ja vu this is what it’s like being a Tigers supporter, still it’s better than being an Eels, Bulldogs, Roosters, Sea Eagles - anyway you know what I mean.

There’s always the next game.

It's testing my loyalty to the club. I don't know how much longer I can keep watching performances like this. If I wanted to punish myself I'd just headbutt a wall.

The issue I'm having with the club as a 40 year supporter is watching a 'professional' team not giving a turd. This day and age any team can turn up and win. All teams have a fighting chance each week. Weve seen it with this exact team this year with the Melbourne and Roosters victories. They are all fit, skillful and full-time professionals. The lack of heart and attitude is the disturbing part.

I'd much rather watch the numpties of the Tigers 90's side getting flogged every week as they actually tried but didn't have the ability. To see a side like this, 8million dollars spread across the park and put in another performance like they have the last 10 weeks, well, it really tests the limits of a supporter. Fortunately for the club most supporters have a bigger heart than the pea hearts running around on the field.

20,000 supporters this year, let's see what happens next year now the myth of Cleary has died.

I don’t rate Cleary …
Love to know the REAL reason why Gould punted him !

I think Melbourne and Roosters would put 30 or 40 points on us now. We just got them at a good time. Young Cleary is not the answer. We are lacking in so many errors. With the average squad we have you can't be making so many handling errors and have ill discipline. Cost us in so many games this year.

For such a well coached side, Tigers make a lot of stupid mistakes; also look very unfit.

Let’s not get to carried away with the well coached side….I certainly would challenge that one! This team is not a Top 8 unit and after that performance today is a long way off indeed.
If there is 6 or 8 spots to fill there better be a few Marquee signings or next season will also be a finals free year as this year will be !

The verdict is in. Cleary is a dud coach. The myth is over. I get that he isn't the one dropping the balls and doing stupid errors out there on the field but his job is to coach the team to play smart. Why do the players think it's ok to attempt low percentage plays 80% of the game. Constant attempted offloads in a three man tackle, forcing stupid passes on the second or third tackle. Making a break and never taking the tackle but trying to score off the break every time and inevitably stuffing it up. Giving away a penalty on the 4th tackle at least 3 times in every game when they are pinned in their own half letting them go straight on the attack in our red zone. Why does this team consistently play dumb? Why? Is it not the coaches job to….......coach the team?? The blame and total blame is at Clearys feet.

Did you mean 'well' coached or 'worst' coached. Cleary is an absolute dud, there's no arguing that at his point. The jury is in.
