Anasta wasted

I think Anasta is wasted in the second row, he hasn't done much there has gone missing big chunks of all three games.
Also I think he should be used as another kicking option he doesn't have a bad long and attacking kicking game.
I would use him at lock throw Blair into the back row and use Anasta as another attacking option bit like a second 5/8th it would give us another dimension as team just track benji and robbie ,miller is still a work in progress.
Thoughts?

Couldn't agree more.

Blair gets put in the backrow and he gets lost in the shuffle again. At least playing lock he's in the middle of the ruck getting involved. Anasta has been around long enough and played enough games for it not to be an issue. He needs to pull his finger out

Please Blair is an established first grader that has played more back row than lock and your saying he couldn't handle a re shuffle that's a laugh.
IMO he has been better this year but far from elite,Anasta to lock with provide more attacking options simple

I must admit I enjoyed Blair's game immensely on Friday…..looked sharp and went close to scoring a few times.

Great runs and solid defense.

I did not notice Anasta and he was on for 80 mins.

Its an issue IMO.

So you would prefer Anasta in the middle of the ruck in defence ?? :crazy

Blair is having a good year. Definitely liking his involvement.

Regarding Anasta, his time will come, i sure hope Pottsy is getting Anasta to run some plays at training in the halves. His tenacity is definitely being missed in the backrow.

Anasta can tackle and could handle it in the middle, and I watched every game and know how poor Blair was but perhaps it was more a fact of fitting into our unstructured play as opposed to Melbourne very structured play.

Blair at lock playing like a prop works well. Our worst signing ever appears to be improving and I think has found a role. Lets hope this continues.

Anasta is a major concern. I would drop him to the bench at best.

Personally I think we need more impact in our second row and switching Blair and Anasta won't accomplish this.We need someone to take over Ellis's job of solid defence and some mongrel taking it up.Who this person is I'm not sure but I did like the look of Sue in state cup and maybe even Bodene Thompson.

Anasta just needs to put his hand up more often. Every hitup he's made this year has been good. He just doesn't do it enough. If he had Liam Fulton's ticker he would be a more effective version of him.

I don't know, if Fults can chuck in a little grubber at the line, that's not to say Anasta can't?

Blair seems more comfortable at lock and puts in more effort compared with second row - I think he gets lost in the second row, he was prop at Melbourne.

last week I started a thread highlighting his unimpressive stats over the first 2 weeks , against parra I watched him carefully to try to find out way?

The problem is that Anasta has tethered himself to his edge , he does not go in field looking for the ball or work in general , which I think must change.
