Anasta

Anasta was solid, a good enough only player at the beginning of the season. The longer the year rolls on, the good enough, just isn't good enough.

The calming affect on Brooks excuse is dead.

Indeed. Brooks appears to be managing just fine. Is it just me who remembers Brooks having to come to Anasta's defence in the media about a month ago when Bwaith had his most recent big sook about being underrated? Yeah way to shield the young guy, Mr Calm-Headed Experience - drag him into a media scrum started purely by you moaning about how nobody appreciates what a pwecious fwower you are.

I'll say this: Anasta has, mostly, been ok at 5/8 over the past month or so. I'd grade his games roughly in the 5-7 out of 10 range. We are no longer playing with 12, as we were when he lined up in the pack. But that's really it. If we have to go with this experienced leader business then maybe Austin shares time at 9 until Farah comes back - after which he has to start at 5/8.

No real point shaking things up just yet when we are going well. Could be a bit like George Bailey during the ashes just holding his own and providing leadership qualities throughout the series.

However, Austin was always going to look good coming on after 30 and running at an overall poor Parra bench. I think Austin looked sharper because Luani had a couple of absolute shocking moments between the 20th and 30th minute.
