Queensland were absolutely brilliant in the opening 30\. Their kicking game was spot on and they were as close to perfect as I have seen a team play. NSW did well to not get completely blown off the field, but were never in the game.

I think we made some groun in this series but still next year is a new year which means we need to start all over again.
Before tonight, we were one win away from breaking the drought, at the start of next year, we will be back to square one, 2 matches away from breaking the drought.

Yes congratulations to Queensland who deserved their win tonight and the series. Qld has a team of talented players who perform under pressure and are unassuming winners. The NSWRL needs to start again IMO in terms of selecting a new coach and selectors. The saving grace for me is the lack of selection of Wests Tigers players, meaning they haven't been part of losing the series, Sauce was selected for this game but was hardly used, didn't do anything wrong whilst on the field so doesn't count towards contributing to the series loss!!!

This, our 17 will be a lot stronger next year than it was this year, Qld's will be weaker. I think 2 games in NSW, plus some confidence with having a much stronger team next year and NSW will be a real chance, it was a much stronger performance compared to the previous 2 disasters.
