Andrew Fifita

Don't get me the wrong, the young bloke is doing a great job.

But one thing I've noticed with him is that EVERY time he runs onto the field, without fail, he'll give away a penalty the first tackle he makes.

Gee it's frustrating. He's becoming the new Gibbs in that regard.

Just to take a positive out of the game today and IMO he has improved out of sight since playing in the NRL the last few weeks. He still has a few initial disciplinary issues when he comes on the first time but i think he can fix this sooner rather than later i think he just tries to make an impact straight away but apart from that going to be a great player this year and in the future will be interesting to see where he fits in with Cayless and Payten once we get back to full strength. i hope he doesnt get dropped because our best pack and bench will be huge if he does stay in the squad

Me to he is going great just hope Sheens doesnt make him accountable for the loss and drop him for runnig it on the 5th

Fifita went great and would benefit if he had someone like Steve Folkes as his coach.

he shows the signs of being a very good player. gets in and has a go.
that's all we can ask of players, who have had not played alot of first grade.
.
the game should have been sewn up by wests-tigers before Andrew ran the ball on the 5th tackle in dying stages of game.

I think its a problem with the coach not getting through to him.

when he went to dummy half i knew he was gonna run and i was all for it because the way we played today he would of got closer then anything marshall or farah would of produced

hes our most attacking forward and that will go out of his game in time, hes hardly the reason we are playing bad, infact hes a shining light

He was one of the Tigers best forwards today, and all the forwards put their hand up which was good. Can't really blame him for having a crack on that last play, he did make the linebreak to put the Tigers in that position in the first place.

He is a gun. Fifita will play rep footy in a few years. We need to focus on keeping this one!

Mate I don't in any way blame him. As I said, he's doing a great job.

that's bound to work…

i'll forgive Fifita that penalty was BS....

He's going great.....

Fifita is awesome. Impossible to bring down, killer offload… great.

Hoping we can keep him, along with signing a top line prop ala Lima or Tolman.

Give us the best Prop rotation in the comp easily.

Potentially our best prop. Galloway is awesome. Gibbs goes real good as well but imo Fifita may be better than both of them.

 love your work bug…..

He's been going great guns, with experience he will become a top player.
I just wanna stop him trying to beat everyone up when he tackles them, no need to lay all over the player for so long.. its pretty simple to get off when ref yells "release, getup"

People need to read whta the original poster is saying. He never said Fifita is the problem.

All he said which is 100% correct, was Fifita always gives a penalty not long after coming on . In fact Fifita gives numerous penalties away every game which for some reason is not being coached out of him. I dont think there would be a game where Fifita hasntgiven away at least 1 penalty. A good talent, but needs to work on these things.
