Have heard a solid whisper morrow is being closely looked at by channel nine as a back up for rabbits

Let him take over Gus , can't stand his whinging .
All i ever have drumming in my ear is Rabbits telling Gus " we know that Gus but those are the rules "

So true , when rabs is calling a game by himself , he can keep to the script , Gould needs an uppercut .
Rabs is still the one when calling the swimming IMO .

Rabbits hates flying and is ageing. This is where the opening for morrow is being considered. They have struggled with this spot since vossy was moved on. Hadley struggles calling on TV. Mathew Thompson and Joel Caine both given opportunities as well.

I rate Warren Smith and Greg Alexander. Both are footy smart and are more interested in calling the game rather than seeking attention. Warren Smith should be considered as a replacement for Rabbits' after his approaching retirement.

The only issue with Alexander is his inability to go 10 minutes without at least three teste pops..

Alexander and Brandy are the only league commentators i can tolerate on any station, radio or TV. Sterlo and Voss are alright though i guess.

:roll

Which of Brandy Alexander's personalities do you like the most

The one with the Penrith bias or the one that favours the Panthers

Seriously ? I think he along with Sterlo and to a lesser extent Ben Ikin are the least bias commentators in rugby league. 10 times better than Andrew Johns, Brad Fittler and 1000 times better than Wally Lewis and Darren Lockyer

This is my point GNR , you typed Brandy and Alexander

See my point now

Isnt it ''biased"?…not bias

"I dont think he's biased when calling his old team."
"He doesn't show bias when calling his old team."

Serious question

The two sentences you have put forward are in different tenses

One is past tense one is present tense

So both sentences you have put forward are correct tense

Time to work on our arithmetic

If Chris Lawrence costs us this much ,Aaron Woods costs us this much and Farah climbed through the fence which way was the wind blowing and at how many knots when the Tornado struck

Bloody hell, who do I listen to now? ARE was my choice but with this clown going there what's left? Gave up 2Gb long ago because of every single person on that program with Moore top of the list.

The crap they put on players when calling games is disgraceful

I think Hadley is a wonderful radio caller, not great on TV. As a person, cant cop him at all.

Rabbits is so far past it, and Im not convinced he was ever great, he just had the job. He is also so arrogant it is unpalpable.

I think Smith is a wonderful caller, and I like most of the fox lead callers, they are far better than the 9 guys.

Sterlo has made a living by making the simple sound astute, so that casual observers can understand what happened ( a skill in itself) , although he does not add much, he is still easy to watch.

Gus is basically running a campaign each week to change the rules to suit what he likes, often confusing viewers (normally at the expense of the refs credibility), the other thing he does that annoys me, is he calls from his pocket, he supports a side that week and calls accordingly.

There is plenty of talent out there, but unfortunately we are stuck with yesterdays heros who the game has passed by or they dont have the communication skills.

Never heard of this guy. But Hadley's a wanker of the highest order. Complete and utter (unt according to a friend who was a former colleague, and has been written numerous times in the past.
