Andrew Ryan

Never been a big Andrew Ryan fan Can have some really bad 1 on 1 defensive issues Remember in Dogs v Broncos semi a few years ago when he missed 4 tackles that all lead to tries . His go forward is ok but he is 32 . I would pass myself

um i cant beleive the negativity around this possible signing…

he adds experience and depth to our forward pack...

8\. galloway
9\. farah
10\. blair
11\. dwyer
12\. heighington
13\. ellis

15\. ryan

he's a pretty damn good bench plaeyr to be coming on, no matter how old.

Can't see him making the Tigers starting 17\. Hope this rumour is false too.

I like it…. Bar Ellis/Heigno no other back rower in this club can hold a candle to Andrew Ryan put it this way would u rather bobcat on the bench or Fulton/flangan?

depends on the price, if he is coming cheap, i reckon it is an excellent depth signing as we bring these young kids through.
I have my doubts, but i have heard this to be fact rather than rumour??

Yes, it all makes sense now.

Ooooh lookee…. negative or as i like to call them, realistic post

The bloke in question almost needs a walkin frame these days to get around the park

First thought : angry, typical signing for us , old player.
After reading the forum: I don't mind it tbh

It came out of no where

If anyone has watched the Bulldogs this year he has been terrible. Has no impact, small for a back rower these days, consistently gets smashed in attack.

I guess that means we will sign him.

Given the amount of posts wondering why Groat hasn't been named in the side to play the chooks this week, can somebody please tell me where he's expected to fit next year if Ryan is signed?

Which is why I can't see it happening.

Could Ryan on a 1 or 2 year deal be basically cover for Dwyer?

Dwyers recovery could be a fair way off, I certainly don't hold much hope for the first half of next year, and there is the chance he may not return at all. Ryan as a stop gap might be a fair option. His attitude and discipline would certainly be welcome at training and around our young guys.

2 pages, 36 posts, 0 links to sources. It's a WTF special!!

You wonder why this rubbish flourishes here???

My ….& I assume most rational thinking peoples thoughts initially would be that this is a gee up.

But with Sheens you just never know.
