Players were reprimanded for having bikie links. Why does he get a pass?
NRL was all over Fafita for visiting a lifelong friend that murdered someone.

Nobody see the double standards?

The big difference was he followed all the protocols and got the OK from the games governing body

Fifita didn't

What about Corey Norman and co? They're just having a meal with friends that was caught on social media. Yet the NRL decided who they can and can't be friends with.
My argument isn't with what the players or Webster are doing but the NRL have set double standards.

Corey Norman was convicted of drugs possession and was involved in a sex tape that included footage of drug taking. Pretty sure that's when NRL really went after Norman, not sure of the exact timeline.

nope

Me either

I actually thought everyone praised Fafita for staying true to his friend and visiting him in jail.

It was the wristband and stuff that was an issue, and I'm yet to see Webster wearing a wristband or T shirt about freeing a murdering friend and using TV and his position in the NRL to do so.

That's not what you wrote here…

Tigers are full of shonks from the inception.
Dave Trodden and Elias stripped the joint a long with Nick DG.
Drug takers and match fixers and **now Webster has rebel bikie links even being a pale bearer for a drug trafficking murderer.**
The joint employs the worst of the worst, no wonder our players don't put in and want to leave.

I'd consider him a person with criminal links. By association.
********Hell, you can be arrested for consorting just being in their company.*********
It's ok though. Knew him forever.

Incorrect. Try using facts to substantiate your claims. It gives you far more credibility. Stay away from the Facebook school of law.

Havent really wanted to say anything about the article, however being a fair and older person,I couldnt give a rats what people thought if I was pallbearer for a friend irrespective of what he has done…Webster has done everything right within the boundaries of the NRL,this shows his immense integrity, loyalty and friendship, he should be respected for that, not belittled....

Remember these words....'LET HE WHO HAS NOT SINNED,CAST THE FIRST STONE'....

What a screwed up society we live in. So our footballers get held to far higher standards then our politicians? It's rubbish that someone can get the third degree for going to a funeral. What if it was Fifita or any other guy. Seriously if I knew a bikie since I was a kid and the guy was a bestie I would go to their funeral come hell or high water.

Yes footballers have standards to maintain on the field and when signing autographs etc. If it's Friday night and their having a few at the Oxford Tavern the media should just STHU!

"Fake news is king and alternate facts is next in line. Congrats to Channel 7 guys for having 1/10th of 1% journalism integrity." I think Channel 7, Massoud, Triple M and the Daily telegraph should be thrown in the garbage bin. I want to read sport news that is about SPORT. Talk about how my team is going and how it is going to go. Not how hot XYZ's wife is, or how sad someone is feeling since is brother is in jail, etc.
