heard moltz to half, tedesco to fullback. anasta backrow. thompson back to bench. utai to wing.

any truth to this?

fair enough. Maybe a 20s player to the Wing? or Thompson to centres?

This is the first info I have received from this guy so I have no idea as to its accuracy, however the shuffles wouldn't surprise me.

Potter is entertaining the notion of playing Sitaleki Akaoula on the wing, Teddy at FB, Moltzen at half and Anasta off the bench. Akaoula missed the NSW cup match and traveled to Melbourne.

Akaoula is a backrower?

Big T should be the wing replacement, surely?
 
Akaoula is one of those wingers that grew into the backrow. He grew up a winger.

I didn't hear anything about T traveling with the side, did he not play NSW cup? If he didn't then we might be seeing both of them playing?
 
Just checked the sides and T and Utai both played NSW cup, so as much as it's a surprise, I'd say Akaoula is in line for a debut tonight.

Akaoula has played wing in the Tigers NYC side, and while he has decent pace, he's not as quick as Mr T and is a much better prospect in the forwards.
 
T was going to be 18th man, Spence ended up being the 18th I believe.

T had another mixed bag with the hands on Saturday.
 
T really does need to work on his hams… I mean hands, Although they are quite Ham like most of the time.
It may also be me, But gee he is slow off the mark... Really takes him a bit to wind up!!
 
I would be surprised after all the interviews and comments this week if they don't run Anasta out at 7, at least to start the match.

All this smoke and mirros about our line up and I reckon Melbourne don't care one bit.

I was listening to ABC on Saturday afternoon before the NSW cup match and the guy who was at the match doing the updates said that Akaoula had been pulled from the NSW cup side and was "heavily rumoured" to be debuting tonight. Spence actually played so my crazy deductions suggest that Spence = maybe 18th man, Akaoula = actually in the 17 man side. Whether or not he is on the wing I dunno.
 
I saw something yesterday on one of the NYC boy's Instagram wishing Akaoula good luck in his debut.
If it means Teddy at FB, I'm in!

So the only thing that appears certain is that Tedesco will shift to fullback and Akaoula will debut. Talk is big T will play wing, despite playing a game on Saturday. Looks like a state of confusion really. Wait for more news during the afternoon I guess.
 
I reckon the Big T will play wing jive is just that, jive. Either Akaoula is going to play wing or Nofoaluma will. There is no way a guy the size and inexperience of Taqele can back up on a two day turnaround to play against Melbourne in Melbourne with Nofo sitting on the sideline. Just the Mole talking out of his behind re: Taqele.
