Any way to get live coverage?

I note Channel 9 is putting Wests on as the second game, and radio will only be updates.

Is there anyway to get this game live in Sydney (through internet or radio), or do we just need to wait until 9.30pm?

Ideas anyone?

i'm going to be in melbourne this week. IF i get to see the game at all, it will be about 3am saturday morning :frowning:
 
I was in Melb the night of the Newcastle game last year and we had to get slow updates via the slowest internet connection…ever!

Didn;t even mention it inthe Melbourne papers on the Sat morning.
 
when this happens, i have to rely on NRL livescore scoreboard.
on the nrl site
you do not get any commentary at all, just score update when they happen.
you can click on the match summary and it shows you who scored and when, tackles made etc.

I have a friend who lives in melb and watches the tigers games on channel 9 this way. I also think the feed they get at the pub is from QLD so the tigers game should be on live at 7.30 down there this week.

It stinks, who wants to watch the spazzamatta game anyhow after the way they played last week, i know its 2 sydney teams, but comeone channel 9, you can do better than that!!! if u pay for foxtel u should be able to watch whatever game u want and when u want
 
Just play xbox til 9:30 and then its effectively live.

Friday 9:30 is my Favourite as the wife and kids are knocked out and the house is all mine…

Bring out the Chockys, Chips and popcorn....

This man speaks the truth. But chips & beer will do for me. Great way to unwind after a hard week, be able to watch the game in peace =p

Both approaches sound good, maybe chockys, chips and popcorn washed down by beer but I think the real point is the peace and quiet leading to full concentration on the game. I also agree with 'you know who' about Foxtel.
 
Yeah it's cos we play a QLD team, it peeves me.
More so since I think it's like that for us for the next couple of weeks. I've got reasonable internet but it hasn't been any good for live streams for a fair while now. I don't know what changed.

9.30 games are so poo-ee that you're crashed by half time on a Friday, now if they shift them to a 5.30 & 7.30 timeslot ala Saturdays then they're on to something.

It's a lot like Mondays, if your team isn't playing Monday, you really don't give a hoot about the Monday game.
 
ABC Radio in QLD should be doing it live, you can possibly can listen on line if you want to know whats happening. Don't know of any ways to watch it live though. I, like most will have to sit through the Eels and Bulldogs game waiting for it on nine. Go Tigers!
