Anyone else excited to see how this plays out?

The last two weeks has done me…I hope the WTs as a club can become a very good club to be part of,especially if the team win more games, can't see this happening for quite a while...I don't need the heartache I endure each week sticking up for a team full of potential going nowhere, will start concentrating on my golf so I can play in the Masters championship in October,if I don't make it I only have myself to blame, but at least I know I will make every effort to get there....

Now I know that we are rock bottom.
Of all the posters, TT has been the most positive, the most hopeful. Now even he has had enough - and rightly so.

I will always follow the Wests Tigers but not as fervently.

Only 3 games into this season (one was a great win) and I have lost faith. It's not because we have been beaten but the way we have been beaten. I want to follow a team with fight. If they get beaten, it was in the last 10 minutes and they gave their all.

Not this team of wannabees. This team of pretenders.
Forget everything else, Teddy must now be thinking is this my best option? I for one, won't blame him if he walks. The same goes for Woodsie. As for the othe 2? I don't give a toss about our useless halves.

I am very worried the idiots running the club will keep buying the coaches spin, until they face up to reality and see we are going backwards not forwards we will keep getting days like yesterday and last sunday.
Someone at the club has to have the sense and guts to make a stand, sack JT get a caretaker or get Cleary in now. Put the players on notice, and tap quite a few players on the shoulder including Brooks and hit the player market.
We carry on like this for a few more weeks and it may be too late to save even next season, come on Weststigers show some leadership and act now.

I will only be happy if club management acts now and sacks Taylor. Only the third game of the season has been completed but it is so clear that our season is already over. There is a huge stench over the club associated with the despicable misdemeanours of Simona. This together with what certainly is the very low confidence od playing staff and supporters, developed over nearly three years, with regards to Taylor's handling of the team. The team has entirely lost confidence and morale is probably at its lowest point in the history of the club. The only glimmer of light for the club is 2018 but that will quickly disappear if the club doesn't sack Taylor immediately. The club needs time to set themselves up for resurrection in 2018 but the longer they delay Taylor's sacking this great opportunity will quickly disappear. Pascoe must act on what he is being paid to do and sack Taylor now.

Hi all long time viewer just joined.I have followed Balmain and now tigers all my life. Was at our first game with my one eyed Rabbitohs supporting sister in the pouring rain and again last week I took my daughter to Campbelltown in the heat. What a contrast those 2 games were. I gave the benefit of doubt to 2nd game as I thought that we tried but executed poorly. Then yesterday we looked good at the start but seemed to implode before half time and never recovered. When are we going to finally turn the corner ? Every year I get excited at the beginning of the year only to become frustrated and sad as it progresses. On field off field dramas scandals bad decisions by our board and dont forget mates at work every Monday after we get touched. up. I love this club and will continue to go and watch them win lose or draw. But the club needs to look into building a viable team that sees finals and not just Mad Mondays before its too late then maybe we can bring out these closet supporters who appear after a good few wins and get them to games once again have a team we can all be proud of. Sincerely frustrated fan :brick:

I hate to say it, 851, but I think you are right. There is something very wrong at the Wests Tigers and the whole place needs a massive cleanout.

Even JTs biggest fan have to admit this has been a really poor start to the year. I think some got caught up in the Farah hype thinking he was this big problem. I think in hindsight taylor might have wished Farah stayed so it gave him a get our of jail free card. Now he and the team are being exposed.

He has got rid of all his defensive assistant yet we conceed 100 point in the first 3 rounds. This on the back of 2 hidings at the end of last year.

By all his own key indicators and measuring sticks he could have no complaints about being sacked now.

I understand our roster is average but look at the fight Manly, Newcastle and Titans showed on the weekend. They are young teams with injuries and problems with depth like us. Difference is their coach can fire them up to put in a shift. We just look like a rabble.

I have to say i'm also curious to see where this all ends up, I've been following the Wests Tigers and one of the foundation clubs for forty years, so i'm a bit miffed by the reactions on here, it's the way it's always been at Wests, Balmain and now Wests Tigers, a couple of good years every decade or so, followed by years of what we are currently experiencing.
I bought 4 platinum tickets, even though there is only two of us, in case others want to join us if things liven up, but i will still keep showing up waiting to see what happens next, it's all part of what we follow gents (and ladies).
So, to answer the first poster, yes!

Thanks cq,but what really gets to me is how little respect some of the players have for the coach,we were always told to respect our coach and do as he asked,he is in charge..the other thing that annoys me is that these so called future star wannabe;s can hold the club to ransom…firstly show us the talent and ability to play the game before putting your hand out for money that their not capable of earning at the moment..they truly lack the ability to play their preferred roles for 80 mins, thats not good enough for the NRL,and it shows in the scorelines of the last 2 weeks....

Yes. All of this.
Respect isn't apparent. It's all about jockeying for contracts and money now. Forget the coach and forget the football.
Something is going on to pressure the club to the big 4 and what they want.
Because we have been so poor for so long we get desperate for results and keep repeating the same mistakes over and over.
We will sign them, be mediocre and that's wests tigers trademark.
I don't expect finals football while these halves are around.

Thankfully someone at the club had the guts, now to carry out stage 2 and 3, putting players on notice tapping others on the shoulder and getting in someone like Cleary or Toovey and getting some decent players onboard, good start though.

I want to know how the blokes who aren't performing can reportedly have the ability to influence the selection of the bloke the club hires to get them performing.

Myself, I'd complain long and hard to ensure I got a coach who wouldn't dump me, would accept mediocrity. Critics might say that was Taylor, but they assume the new guy actually starts dropping people.

You would think, if you were being logical, that under-performing players would want to keep the status quo because the current coach, who has not dropped them, would likely continue to not drop them.

You bring in a "new guy", it's dead easy for him to start wielding the axe, especially if he wants to put his mark on the team and generate coaching currency.

Or are these players so deluded that they are trying to influence the next coach, thinking "this guy, finally, this guy will get my game to the elite level".
