Anyone for eggs?

I have plenty of them, all over my face! Fried, poached, boiled or scrambled - take your pick.

I really believed WT had packed it in for the year and gave them no hope of winning tonight. Whilst still not convincing, especially considering the opposition, they at least came back after a woeful first half and played Parramatta out of the game. The WT of previous weeks would have folded in the second half, but thankfully they didn't this time and kudos to them for hanging tough.

I'm proud that they came back and we got the win, but I'm far from convinced after that first 45 minutes. We need to learn from the mistakes we made and fix them quick, the Dragons won't go down so easy next week.

Got mine fried, poached, boiled and easy over. Predicted we wouldn't win again this year just yesterday and still believe it would have been true except for Bunj playing like the star of old.

I like to think we were played into form in that second half. The last 39 minutes were the best consecutive 39 minutes of football we have played all season even considering the first 65 of the first Parra game and the Penrith game.

no way can we get carried away with this win, our defence is still shoddy and we continue to leak easy points. second half lot better though.
so if youre making ill have scrambled and i like them a little bit runny.

I dont want any. I am far from convinced with this side at all. Last week they played like they could not care less. This week for 1/2 a game like heroes. Lord knows which side will turn up next week.

Poached eggs for me! But our defense is still terrible and needs a big turn around against better sides . Suck eggs parra !

Hi Flip.

Deluded?

All love brother.
Mate, i'm just happy to see them stomp someone, and remain in the 8.

yeah I thought we were going to get smashed when it got to 22-6, but given our form, we had no evidence to suggest that we'd make that sort of comeback.

Still a lot of work to do in defence and it's clear Benji needs to keep running the ball.

We conceded 26 against the second worst team in the comp, we were in trouble early and the defence was soft. I'll gladly take the eggs next week or in a fortnights time.

Some of our defence was woeful at best by some of our defensive guns

Even playing with a compressed line players were getting through untouched , thats bad ,real bad

OK, some thoughts -
1\. Yes, tigers conceeded 26 points against the Eels. Broncos let through 42\. In the second half only one try.
2\. The attack has blown the cobwebs off. Benji seemed to be back in form nearing half time by full time he was nearing 2005 levels.
3\. Defence needs fixing but as I said earlier, in the 2nd half it was much better. Parra weren't playing any different.
4\. Tigers showed some real fighting qualities to get back in the game at 22-6.
5\. When Benji drifted across field for the Moltzen try off the scrum, that is the first time since Round 1 that I have seen him excited. That's a good sign.

Of course it all means nothing if they don't beat the Dragons….

then again Parra put 40 on the Broncos, and they looked like they were top 4 or top 2 as little as a month ago

not making excuses but some perspective, we're not the only team in a bit of a slump

I thought after the Souths game if we could improve our form then we'd beat the Eels, Dragons and Roosters. Last nights result makes me feel a lot more confident about that. We'll have our confidence back but be sure Sheens will slate them this week for their defensive class….or lack rather. I think we'll continue to show some good signs against the Dragons now. Doesn't mean we'll win, that'll come down to the better side on the night but i expect we'll play a little better once more.

The reality though is we're a long way of challenging Melbourne and the Bulldogs. Doesn't mean we can't or won't but the key is the improvements we can make leading into those games. We have the talent, but our application has been horrendous just about all season. Very few games have we switched on properly.

Does not say much for the Storm and the Broncos.

Always thought we'd win last night…we drag it out right to the death, theyre not letting us off that easy
