OFFICIAL Apisai Koroisau #263

Not particularly about tonight - but Api is one of my favourite ever Tigers.

Absolute champion, no talk all action. Doesn't throw his toys out the cot on the field, even though he has had every right to over the years. Works his backside off.

STILL doesn't get the credit he deserves.

Actually one player I wish would leave the club to go win another premiership before he retires.

250th game this weekend.

Hes done so much in his career yet in my opinion, he's one of the most underrated and often unappreciated players when they're discussing the best.

Hes been an elite 9 for the majority of his career and we've been lucky to have him and are still, very much lucky to have him. We owe a lot to him, he has bled for this club.

Thank you, Api.
No matter what happens with the Tigers, you'll always be remembered as one of our best players and I hope when you retire, we keep you around because you're a incredible footy mind.

110% agree with above , API has been great for our team , good leader , always puts in , I wish we had 8 api in our team we would be unbeatable , gee I always hope we win when there is a special thing on , or like last game at Leichhardt or similar and most times we stuff it up , this game we just can’t , I want and expect noth8ng more than 110 % from every player so he gets the respect he deserves , 250 games is very special achievement , well done

Api is an exceptional old school talent, but he won't be with us next year. He's made it pretty clear he wants to finish his career at the Bears.

To be fair, he hasn't really moved the needle for us, and he'll be 33.

Adam's grovelling today has also shown he doesn't want a breach of contract because that would mean losing the rest of his pay for this season.

He'll be gone too.

Api is contacted for this year + 2027 + 2028

no chance hes going anywhere. Y2025 article and he extended after it.
Never say never. He said it himself, in that interview. Whilst he could play past the age of 35 for Perth, I highly doubt it.

He played for the North Sydney Bears NSW Cup when he first started in the big league back in 2013, and he's often mentioned that he loves the club.

There are some great highlights and a few future NRL guns also playing in this video -
