Apologise to Seyfarth HERE

I've never really been a fan of him and have seen him as a bit of a plodder but boy did he play well tonight!

Some very strong runs and big hits

Was awesome to see him give it his all and not just play in 2nd gear and plod around

Fair.
I feel the same way.
He's shaping into a very good first grader.

Outplayed Mikaele tonight IMO.

He showed some aggression which was good to see ..

He is a ball of energy. The whole team lifts when he comes on the field. Leads the defensive line and doesn't seem to take any nonsense from opposition players. Perfect interchange player.

He can now take a hit too. That was his biggest problem previously. He didn't have enough size to absorb first grade impacts.

I'd give his performance an 8/10

🔥🔥🔥
Best of the benchies, IMO.

He had the size .. he’s a monster
He never had the bottle before to mix it up with the big boys until recently imo

He’s been growing on me for weeks, but he officially won me over tonight. Reminds me a lot of Elijah Taylor. Great clean up man.

IMHO, we made the right decision when we kept Seyfarth instead of Eisenhuth. They are a similar players, however, Seyfarth can offload, and hits the line harder.

Seyfarth has a way higher ceiling.
More aggression.
Eisenhuth is too placid.

It wasn't that long ago most were calling for us to keep Sam Mac over Seyfarth following his debut last year.

Based on current trajectory, Seyfarth will develop into one of our most valuable forwards.

He has footwork at the line. Hits with his shoulders in D and can link out the back like a 13.

Great example of a junior getting better by the week. Been a long while since we've seen something similar.

Simon Dwyer comes to mind.

I just love the kids energy never quits on a play. He has had some momentum turning moments in the last few games

A young bloke improving with experience and maturity, that is the way it should be.

Wow im liking what i see with this kid!!! A real goer in attack and defense!!! MAde some real effort plays last night that changed the game!!

His best game for us..

The kid is all about effort.. especially in defence.. he is starting to reap the rewards .. in turn as are Wests Tigers ..

Keep building Alex...

Admittedly I thought the same and in fairness, he wasn't up to scratch in the games where he was judged as a plodder. Just seemed like he didn't have the strength to make yards in attack and was a bit slow getting around the field. Just seemed off the pace for NRL level.

I'm always happy when proven wrong about a player. His performances in 2 out of the last 3 matches have been really high quality. Mostly his impact, energy and efficiency in defence. He was a total pest for the opposition! His attack is much better as well.

Coming along nicely and I hope there's more improvement left in him. He could be anything if he keeps going the way he is.

I'd just like to restate that I started this thread for a laugh. There was another thread at the time asking for people to apologise to Brooks (I think it was him) after he'd played his first good game all year, which I found ridiculous at the time.

Seyfarth can play NRL, the same way Daniel Alvaro can play NRL. Whether he goes beyond the level of Alvaro remains to be seen. And if he goes on to become an Immortal, it looks like I bought Bitcoin at 10c.

I love watching this guy.

The forward pack has really stood tall last 2-3 weeks.

I hope they show the same intensity and smartness when the chips are down.
