Are the Saints gone ??

After winning only 2 from 10
Getting beaten by a half strength Roosters side
It is mathematically possible for them still to miss the eight
Isn't it funny that basiacally within a month of Bennett signing with Knights they basically collapse in a heap
Can they still go back to back
I reckon they will finish sixth or seventh now and could drop in the first week of semis

Im not writing them off yet, the same thing happened to Brisbane in 06 when we beat them up there at 1/2 strength. They are still 5th and in a pretty good position on the ladder.

I'd like to think they're gone but I think it's to early to say that considering they will still play finals footy.

I reckon they are in a rut like we were with players and the coach leaving etc.We got ourselves back on track so I wouldnt write them off until at least after next week against melbourne.

I think Soward is gone has an injury and they are trying to cover it and it's not working .The team is under the pump and the coach is moving on and looking at property in Newcastle,,Are they gone no but will do it tough with everbody else hitting there straps.

I think they're gone. They have nothing, play with no ticker, look lost in attack and terrible in defense. Ryles' try was abysmal today. They wouldn't have let that happen earlier in the year

We of all clubs know that in the semis anyone can do anything…

Would I be confident if I was a dragon at the mo.... NO.

Next week against Melbourne sees a great chance for us to leapfrog them....

Who would of thought.

Cowboys are in position to hold onto 4th. Should they slip up, there is only 2 sides who can snatch it… The Tigers and Warriors imo.

Dragons are gone! Every side in the comp has their number and figured them out. It would be great if they got stranded on 29pts and finished 8th to face the Storm in Melbourne round 1 hahah

Even funnier if Souths won last three and saints finished 9th :roll

with the talent they have u cant rule them out but they need to be play as a team and not as individuals to stand a chance theyre best game over the past month was against us but games theyve been expected to win they dont perform maybe melbourne might play them into form without cronk now

Hi All forgot to ask On ABC radio they mentioned Soward got pulled from the field after not challenging for a bomb Did anyone see the game and was that true or was it an injury ??

Now Cronk's out, the Dragons might have a chance against Melbourne next week. It will be interesting to see how Melb go without Cronk for a few weeks, actually.

None of them were catching bombs. The only Saints player who tried to catch one was Boyd and he dropped it. They didn't suggest he was pulled because of it, he really seemed to be struggling with his injury.

They've got some serious issues at the moment but I wouldn't write them off just yet. They're one of the few teams capable of putting together a long winning streak. They just seem buggered at the moment - mastercoach Bennett needs to find some way to freshen them up or else they can start looking at the travel brochures for Bali in September. More so they seem to have bigger problems next year - new inexperienced coach, player turnover, they could really struggle in 2012.

I Dont think so,
They might hit form the last few games of the season and take it into the finals?
Next Week will say everything

Answer: No way, I agree with some on here. Soward's contribution was none existent today. He played busted - very courageous, but to the detriment of the team. I think a few of them are injured, because they are not playing with the intensity that they usually do.(except against us which every team seems to do) Go back to what someone stated a while ago, I think only Melbourne, Manly and one other team has won this year after playing us. Beau Scott is frustrated giving away silly penalties in defense which isn't helping.

Nah they're not gone….not playing very well granted but they are still dangerous and will make the finals. With a bit of luck Melbourne will take care of them and if we keep winning they will end up below us which will be of some benefit....

...however...they are a classy side who when on song are near unbeatable. Bennett will have them back to somewhere near this form come finals time.
