Wests Tigers supports, so many of you are so sad seriously.
Ok I am upset with todays performance but do you think the players and coach wanted to lose, do you think they didn't try????
I have boxed and played rugby and I have never entered a match wanting to perform poorly.
To call Sheens an Idiot and blame players shows how stupid…yes stupid you really are.
He is the current Australain coach and didn't get there by luck.
Look at tonight...oh first look at last week when we won and everyone was "they so great, against the odds, best effort ever"
Tonight we performed poorly yes, but look at the club - Ryan, Galloway, Lote, Lawrence, Farah at 80%, Fulton, BMM, Wade, Lui, Daniella.............................That 80% of the side.
Ellis is only 2 games in, Utai I think is playing well as is Brown...again only 2 games,
Tonight Latu's first game, Miller and meaney plus Moltz at fullback (which i dont rate), Brown at centre... many new faces and new players and Alan S got injuried.
Start supporting your team or go support someone else.
Please we all here as we love the Tigers so start supporting or piss off to England where whinging is rated.
Out!!!

mate, i understand our injuries and all the other stuff i really do, ive already posted i didnt expect to get up tonight, but despite all those things you mentioned (and being 14-0 up after ten) it was still a terrible performance to lose that game. all those players are out but the ones who were there are no mugs and our senior players were there, it was, honestly, diabolical the way we went about that game. deadset schoolboy stuff.

c'mon mate i love my team too and i try to look on the positive side but when the need calls for it you gotta say thats just dumbfounding.

i do support my side bro, im as real deal as they come ive been a season ticket holder for nine years and been at most games since i was a kid (im 31 now) and ill be there time and again in the future. so please dont tell me to piss off, i go for the same team mate, just coz you decide to take a different view to me does not make a bad supporter or any more or less passionate or have less love for OUR team. im not one of those who will ever yell abuse at our players or say there hopeless, i just think tonight was simply not good enough. injuries, short game time and whatever else.

WE SHOULD HAVE WON THAT GAME. SIMPLE

I agree with both the above posts. When I saw the team line up last night, and all the changes, I thought we would be in for a bad night ! Changes in teams, no matter how good they are, make a difference, they haven't had the time to gel yet, all the positional changes as well. Don't like Moltzen at fullback, and I'd prefer to see Brown on the wing, although I think he prefers centre - just my opinion though and I'm no expert. Look they had a bad game and they didn't win and that's it :bash We are all passionate Tigers supporters or we wouldn't be having this conversation, lets look forward to the next match :sign:

Totally agree injuries are hurting us but by switching Moltz to f/back,putting an 18yr old at half(while a specialist f/back idles his time on the bench)and demotes Woods and replaces him with a lightweight Flanagan was POOR coaching. The team who played tried their hearts out but 707m in attack should tell us Coach made a massive blunder. This does not qualify me as someone who needs to grow up.

Another one of these, the only way to support the team is to not complain about issues within the side when they lose eh?

Sorry, doesn't work that way for passionate supporters.

Poor selections were made prior to the game and these types of decisions have been made in the past when we've been hit by injuries, they've bitten us on the backside then and nothing has been learned obviously.

Poor decisions were made on the field, like going for that goal 42 metres out and it's not like we have an accurate and consistent goal kicker.

Now how about some people grow up themselves and accept that passionate supporters will be pretty filthy about some of these decisions and voice their opinions and not play the pathetic, 'you aren't real supporters' card, might be a good idea yes?

Tim Sheens > Roysta.

I wonder how many threads have been made like this in the past.
This will always happen in sport and you making a thread sure as hell won't change it.

I agree.
passion leads to expectation, which if not achieved becomes anger/frustration.
then some-one usually becomes the scapegoat and blame is heaped on them.
.
last year wests-tigers finished well and got one game away from grand final.

as a result we **_expect_** them to do the same this season.

At the moment they are not setting the world on fire and **_our expectation of them is not being met_**, hence the anger et.

the ultimate aim is to win the comp.
first step make the top 8.
then go from there.
wests-tigers will finsh in top 8 or better this season.
give them a chance

Nice rant Roysta….can I get fries with that?

This season has been diabolical so far for us with the cruel amount of injuries yet those who have taken the field have been punching above their weight and have produced some heroic victories.

Even in the losses to the Dogs and Roosters you could see that the effort was there but the execution lacking.

3 great wins against monster packs got everyone excited. Last weeks win was one of the best in recent memory.

We take the field last night with 3 internationals in our side, have them on the rack after only 15 minutes having only made 10% of the tackles they did and then capitulated.

Its frustrating that last wek it was hard to nail down a 3-2-1 as everyone was excellent yet only a week later it's just as hard because everyone was so poor.

This rocks or diamonds approach is what is upsetting many people.

That sums things up very well! We had a great chance to have a 4-2 record in probably the worst injury crisis we can remember at the club and the players out there to do the job last night. The losses to the Bulldogs and Roosters you can take, but last night just doesn't sit well.

Its a forum, simple as that.. We have different opinions & different ways of expressing our emotions..

They played s***, they deserve to get criticized.. A loss is a loss, but a loss playing like that is ridiculous..
Im sure any1 who made the effort to go up & watch the game live would be cursing..
They have every right to.

Parramatta could do with some supporters right now….so does Penrith>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

well done number 1 supporter.. you are the reason our club is so strong ….. hey just a reminder ...sheensie isnt a machine, he is a human being ,,, nobody gets it 100% right all the time , so why cant we express our opinions the way we see it ??????????????

I am not trying to be number 1 mate all I am saying is as soon as we lose (and we were poor) everyone want to sack sheens, call him an idiot blah blah blah.
I admit my post was overboard and sorry for upseting some folk. I would just like to see supports getting behind the team. Weststigers is a strong club but I think bagging players and coaches out straight away is a little harsh.
True I do feel sorry for supporters that travelled to watch that game (I am going to a Syndney match next month from Asia so I hope they win that)
And we are all entitled to our own opinions

How much is a flight from Asia to Syndney these days?
Thinking about going there myself.

Roysta i agree with your post.

Some people realise that every teams has it ups and downs you cant win every week.If we win its the players if we lose its sheens its been like that here forever and ever.Has anyone ever thought that the decsions he makes may be due to other aspects like injuries or fitness issues who knows really but i have faith in sheens to do the right thing. Its like this if benji and robbie play well we win.

there was just too many dumb changes that werent needed,we almost won the comp with Brown at fullback so why didnt we put him there
Moltzen is a half i dont wanna see him anywhere else
why the hell would u swap Woods for Flanagan ?
why is matt ryan not getting a shot ?

what a silly thread - let the supporters vent - we are only human for crying out loud - its a normal human emotion - get over it please - its just another form of love for our team - chillax :dead

I agree, i would have replaced Woods with Moors, but i guess im not Tim Sheens and you dont know, there must be a reason for it, someone with so much experience doenst make decisions lightly. Some players might not be ready to take the next step up to 1st grade otherwise they would have been picked.
