Look I usually hate anything to do with news limited but this article sums up the feelings of a true supporter and is worth a read:

the article certainly throws up a lot of unanswered questions. Also on the same page could have been a clue to whats wrong with NRL and why players like Teddy move on - the story about Brisbane rorting the salary cap says it all - fake third party deals to attract players - we all know Brisbane have been rorting the cap for years and no doubt they will just get a slap on the wrist over this one as well however the NRL has a major problem with the cap and seem unable to police it properly. Has anyone even asked how Canberra was going to fit Teddy on 650,000, Proctor on 700,000 and Mansour on I suspect at least 600,000 in to their cap - that's 2 million on 3 pkayers. They had 1 million set aside to keep Milford - so where is the other million coming from for these 3 players. Looking at the list of players they have coming off contract there is no way in the world they could offload another million dollars worth of talent.

The loss of Tedesco is massive and, unless we go out and pay overs (which we cant afford) for a fullback from another club, it means we will not be competing for a premiership for at least another five years.

Very depressing day to be a fan of this club.

Mayer gave it to this bloke on twitter, and deservedly so. Even told him the invitation still stands to ask him questions, and the knob refused to play ball.

At the end if the day, this guy is a journo paid to create controversy and sell papers. The whole disgruntled supporter thing comes a distant second.

What a really stupid article, absolute knobhead. Getting really fed up reading absolute rubbish on facebook and this forum. I was pretty disappointed like most, pissed off a bit as well but I understand WHY it is happened and why its really no ones fault except maybe the raiders for their stupidly high offer.

we're in the 8 right now, were 2nd a few rounds ago before injuries. We made the top 4 in 2010 and 2011 and won the comp in 2005\. Not the most successful team in the comp, but we've had our fair share of success.

Disagree. Why can't we produce another potential fullback? We nearly won comps with Mitch Brown and Tim Moltzen at fullback. Tedesco looked great but played 24 games here. We didnt win us any finals games or big games. It was mostly hype.

Talk about an over reaction. Sure it is a blow to our quest for a premiership. Howevre with Farah, Brooks and maybe Moses for a few years we might not need a superstar number 1\. Plus we are building a pretty decent pack.

I Agree completely mate. Everyone that's trying to pass it off as nothing kidding themselves.

Brooks on to Tedesco - Try time! from the commentators was our future for the next ten years, and that's gone now

People that think we can simply replace him with Rowe, Simona or Nofo are kidding themselves and comparing Falcons to Ferrari's.

The fact that, not only can't we buy Talent, we can't even hold onto it is depressing beyond words.

Look I posted the link to the article, I don't agree with everything said in it, just thought it is worth reading.

For mine everyone talks in modern football how important the spine of a side is and in my opinion we have lost one of the best young fullbacks I have seen in my 30 plus years of watching rugby league.

Yes he is injury prone but he has great talent when on the park, yes the raiders paid massive, massive, massive overs for him but we lost him to a club that most people will do anything not to play for them, what does that say about our club?

I read one person saying one comp win and two other finals appearances in 15 years is ok. I almost choked on my beer. That is a crap record of finals appearances in 15 years and no supporter or club administrator should be anywhere near happy with that. We as supporters should not accept such mediocrity.
