As a Tigers tragic, it hurts seeing this

Speaking of that game, i find it bitterly disappointing that Souths take a home game to Ctown and no one bats an eyelid. To me that's the bigger talking point out of tonight than Farah putting on a jersey we've known he's going to wear for months.

Look on the bright side, at least the Campbelltown fans get to see a real NRL Coach do his thing for a change

I was going to ask which coach you were referring to, then it dawned on me that we won every game we played against those teams last year and our coach finished in front of both their coaches.

Saw some highlights of last nights souths game, and gee we are going to miss him. Massive overlap to the left, he goes himself, gets over the line but held up and drops the ball struggling to get it down. 20m tap to Manly.
News mentions that Farah almost scored on debut, not that he bombed a try through selfishness.

Love it GNR, Love it!!!!!

Ive never liked souths. And in the end, i really didnt like farah. So for me, its a perfect fit. I hope they both fail miserably this season.

why is there a Souths thread on a Tigers forum? Shouldn't this be filed somewhere else?

I thought this was a Weststigers site not the Burrow! The only hurt for me was it took so long to see this guy in another clubs jersey !

Well then, I don't see why you are so disappointed to see anyone else at Campbelltown then ,if it's such a good omen for the year.
I also suppose that I can look forward to our fantastically coached team of stars beating them again this year .
Should be easy with the SuperCoach.

I think for the benefit of the Tigers this season, we're better off without him.

Meanwhile we're waiting patiently for his replacement to actually get a game jersey on. That's still debatable whether he will or not. Maybe rd 1 or 2??? Heard all this last season!!!

Will always be a tigers legend. Part of our 2005 team. Haters going to hate.

If you say so , club legends don't usually attempt to destroy the club they "love"

They only "love" the club when the club bends over …..

Champion player , no question , should of stuck to playing though like real club legends do

I will judge him on his playing ability and what he did for us on the field. Dont know him as a person and wont rely on rumour and innuendo to make a judgement on him.

Unfortunately Robbie was also the club captain for many years,he had a commitment to the club off the field as well as on it,and that was to represent the club proffessionally when not playing…..getting involved with club management in regards who coaches and who plays and who doesn't wasn't in his job description, however he did get involved and we now see the result of that...bagging the club and personell isn't a good look for a club captain...

Was a great player early on for us but he should of kept to playing his position and letting the coaching staff coach....
Good luck at South's Robbie, you will need it.......

Hit the nail right on the head.
Robbie should of kept the politics out of it. He got away with running the club for many years and didn't like it when someone new came in and trod on his toes.
Club legend definitely. Finished on a sour note which was both of his and JT's doing. Seems to love drama, South's can deal with that circus now.
If our club is a happier, more unified environment now that he is gone then its a good thing. Would really love to get the truth from WT players as to whether they are happy that he is gone, that is basucally the thing that matters most.

I thought I also read somewhere the Tigers season launch is at the Rocks ? Why not out where the supporter base is ?

Being with the club for more than a decade and being such an integral part of our team during that period shouldn't excuse the fat he was a destabilising figure.

I'll miss his ability, but I welcome not having our club in headlines which is what's happened via Farah for the last 3 years.

I'm with you Muffstar, but wherever they held it some people would have a problem with it because our area is so wide.

Wests Campbelltown supporting Souths offering free game entry to its members if they bought a souths membership is another sad state of affairs
That said, Ive never had anything to do with the area bar going there a few times a year for footy

Not sure it hurts too much for me seeing RF in other colours. Will always be a great player and pribably in the top 3 for the short WT history. But life goes on.

He has probably left a sour taste with many fans because of the carry on last year. Just read a thing about the Knights legend cult figure Uate. Dumped to reggies last year, big contract, moved on this year with part payment for contract and you don't hear a whimper. No whinging manager, no threats, no final farewell, no 'right' to play a certain number of games, no nothing. And his ex coach who dumped him is not a knob.

Makes you wonder why others can do it, but we couldnt. Very, very similar circumstances. Cant help thinking ego played a huge role for one of the unwanted.

Ah well, wish RF well for all games except Rd 1.
