Att: RL Gamers - Finally an announcement...

One thing I noticed is that fending is too strong. I can fend off 4 players in multiplayer and score regularly.

Turn up the difficulty. It gets ridiculously hard.

One thing i disliked is the gap between the difficulties it is either really hard or really easy, but what i did like is THE BOARD HAS BALLS! they sacked me and i came 4th

I love this game online. Played a ranked match against a dogs fan who scored the first 3 tries of the match. Started getting real cocky. I came back and won it in the last minute to take the game the rage on the other side was hilarious.

On the in game interchange menu does anyone know what the different coloured arrows mean?

Can anyone tell me if the gameplay has improved ? Like when you pass are players still standing flat 10 meters behind you in previous league games?

Thanks

Players run on to the ball all the time.

Has improved out of sight. Graphics, gameplay and general set up are all huge improvements. However there are still a few small glitches. For $79 at JBhifi can't complain.

20x better than RLL1, the online stuff is awesome. There's a few bad glitches but overall for a League game it's pretty good and can only get better.

The controls are tricky to get used to and there's a bit more delay with the passing and kicking.

But, once you get used to the passing it's pretty cool. If you throw a cut out from dummy half you have automatic decoy runners then you can choose another deep pass or throw a short flat ball to a bloke running at a hole! They've made the gameplay a lot more realistic.

I bought my kid a game from a company in the UK today & i noticed they are selling Rugby League Live 2 for $60.99 so if you want to buy it or any other games cheaper than you can buy from here, send me a PM & I'll give you the website. ( I didn't post the website, in case it breaches any rules) It's free postage & PS3 & Xbox games work here, but the only catch is it usually takes around 10 business days to be delivered. Also with the RLL2 game, Benji isn't on the cover but some pommy players.

I think the UK release date is 16th of November. I'd say the 9 bucks extra at JB would be worth getting it sooner.

I'm not sure what the release date is but it's $18 cheaper ($60.99) compared to JB selling it for $79\. But I know what you are saying & that you would rather pay more & have it straight away than to save money & have to wait. I'm a bit older & don't mind waiting two weeks if I'm usually saving around $20 bucks when I buy games for my kid.

I pre-ordered from JB and it came with a little steeden football,
$79 - free shipping.

Played a few games so far, it's a lot different than the first.
Still getting the hang of it.

I like how you can do things like NSWCUP teams VS NRL teams.
Hopefully I get better soon.

9/10

There is a bit of a learning curve but the quality of games online shows fans are picking up and playing the game like a real game of rugby league.

Very happy to see the (mostly) positive reviews/feedback

Here's hoping we get to do a patch to fix a few niggling issues etc.
That will be up to the publisher.

Hey NZTiger, just a question but I'm noticing a lot of glitches during play, like weird flashes on the screen and then it sort of jolts into action. Never happened with other games! It seems to just be RLL2! Has this come up from other buyers you've heard of? No huge issue, but its a little annoying. Apart from that its a massive improvement from the first. The only other issue is when you collect the ball during an intercept etc, because its not always expected and you normally have your finger on the tackle button, you tend to kick the ball straight away unintentionally due to not expecting to get the ball. All in all though not a bad game. Loving the online stuff (when I win haha).

Only that that really annoyed me was that after doing a year of career mode none of the Toyota cup kids came into the squad which would've been cool.

Also when you're trying to ground it then some bloke comes from no where and holds you up. That sucks!

Thanks mate

First I've heard of flashes on screen. This just happens during game play? Or when there are cutscenes or breaks in action?
