has anyone been watching it? rodd!ck isnt going too well tonight. he has just lost the first 2 sets.

In bed watching the West Wing season 5 while I browse the net after a long day.

Tennis dosn't rate in this humble home

Been watching the Aus Open here and there, sorta lost interest in it the last few years.

I used to really love watching the women play but I had an epiphany when watching the Azarenka game today with all of her grunting going on, I don't enjoy it like I used too. I was taking note of how long her grunt went for, and her grunts would stop just before her opponent hit the ball, which says to me that she's faking it. If they stop the grunting ill probably watch more.

I reckon some of them grunt just to put the other player off. You hear the crowd laughing at the grunting sometimes.

They do it to cover up the sound of the shot, so the other player doesn't know how well they hit it.

I have been following the Aus open as per normal. The tennis this year has been very good I think, plenty of cracking 3/5 setters, including a record womens match yesterday (4 hours 45 minutes).
