Australian Indigenous team vs NZ Indigenous team ???

I have never been a fan of exhibition matches, I always like seeing teams play for a common bond.

Suburb, Club, country, state, ethnicity. etc.

Whilst the All Stars concept is good, I think it could really be improved down the track with
say an Australian Indigenous team vs NZ Indigenous team.

yep think it would be a much better event… i was at the game and it was really lacking in atmosphere ... i think the average joe doesnt really care who wins but you make it culture v culture game and mate there would be fireworks .

That aside, I think it would produce a cracking game of footy.

This is a little off topic , but there was talk of playing an Australia v NZ in Turkey in 2015 to commerate the Gallipoli landing

Maybe as a pre cursor to recognize the contributions of the Aborigines and the Maori in WW1 we could have a game between the Maori and the Indigeneous boys before the actual Test match if it is still going ahead

I am not sure I understand why not Demon, the one thing the round ballers are always boasting about is the passion in their game.
Can think of a more passionate reason to play a common bond amongst a team.
