Currently taking place in Port Macquarie - one of the young guns who is getting rave reviews from everyone at the carnival is Mitchell Moses, nephew of Benny Elias apparently - the kid is ripping everyone apart - plays 5/8 for Combined Catholics and is one of 6 or 7 contracted WT juniors at the carnival.

Another article in the paper that i can't link to says that as well as Moses there is Luke Brooks, Nathan Milone, Paul Simona, Fosio Tatola and Rhys Armstrong - all part of the WT 19's development squad and all expected to play Toyota Cup next year.

Holy Cross play Westfields in what will be their hardest game so far on Friday week, unsure where and what time yet.

Moses will find himself in the Australian Schoolboy squad after this championship.

Been following the results via LeagueUnlimited, the OP appears to be a Panthers fan as he/she highlights it everytime a Penrith player is the player of the match, both winners & losers achieve this however.

Mitch Moses, Luke Brooks & Paul Simona all got Australian Schoolboys selection

Also Adam Elliot from St Gregs in the Aus Schhoboys

Moses was named player of the tournament as well

Congratulations to the 3 Balmain Boys, Luke Brooks, Mitchell Moses and Paul Simona and to Bradley Dietz who is with the Chooks but attends Holy Cross Ryde and Adam Elliot from St. Gregs who all made the Aussie Schoolboys team aswell as convincingly defeating the NSW CHS team in the final.

Luke Brooks was Man of the Match in the Final and I am very happy to see that he is still progressing well after a couple of bad injuries. Congrats to Mitchell Moses for being named player of the series as well.

Great result,
good to see so many make the side, and take out the major awards, also a couple of Keebra boys selected as well, hopefully we see them in the WT system as well.

Is Adam Elliot in the magpies program??

5 from Patrician Brother's & 3 from Holly Cross. What a potential blockbuster semi in the schoolboy's cup that will be, pity both sides didn't clashed until the final.

Excellent news and well deserved to all concerned. Really liking the junior talent pushing through the grades at the moment.

I went to see the final - played in wet conditions but both sides handled it well - very tight for 15 minutes then the Catholics ripped CHS apart until about the final 10 minutes. Moses did a couple of good things was kept prett quiet for most of the game - the half Brooks was outstanding - I was surprised how slight Moses was whereas Brooks is built like your typical nuggety half ala Matt Orford - hope the Tigers hang on to this kid - these two could be the next generation halves for the Tigers

Noticed that there are 2 kids from Keebra Park in the side, are they both West Tigers Scholarship players? Is Keebra still a strong hold for the Tigers or are other clubs sending more players there?

Jack Goodsell is signed with the Titans & it was his first rep team that he has ever made. Not sure who the other kid is signed with.
