So Robbie tells Tallis 12 months ago that potter cant coach, tallis names robbie on Friday and today Ayoub challenges Tallis and Tallis breaks robbies confidence and tells all. Tallis then gets a text from Ayoub confirming Robbie did tell him. Robbie then denies it in a media conference. Robbie i would be having a serious chat to your manager…. He aint doing you any favours...

everyone: tallis, matty, media, the board, farah, ayoub, mayer

all of them are scumbags. feel sorry for potter- he probably wished he had stayed in super league without the 250K a season. his face when the journo asked him what was said between robbie and him was that of helplessness.

Interesting that today Tallis went on MMM Brisbane and said that Robbie threatened to sack Ayoub if teddy went. Ayoub was on MMM yesterday when this all blew up and totally denied that. Funny how Tallis is still spreading false rumors. So is he really the most honest man in RL or just another wanna be big mouth ex player. Add to that Matty Johns saying Woods had to pull Farah away from Tallis after the game. What a load of BS. Woods was standing behind Farah and placed his hand on his shoulder, he then walked away and farah and tallis continued talking. I was on watching the whole thing from about 20 awayThis is an obvious beat up to get to Farah for some reason, and it's not a surprise that Johns is in on it.

As I stated before these media wantabes have to spread innuendos, lies, gossip and scandal otherwise they lose their jobs. They would obviously think "rather him (Potter) lose his job than me". By the way most of these media parasites are earning a lot, lot more than Potter for doing very much less.

Ayoub seems like a scumbag.

I used to think this, but was pleasantly surprised when i had a few dealings with him, he was actually very different to I expected.

I suspect he has a hard edge to him, but IMO, found him to be a pretty good guy and nothing like the slimey bugger I thought he was.

There's a pretty simple solution to all of this, I think. Robbie needs to front Potter, the team and the board and be honest that he said those comments to Tallis.

And, what's the crime if he did? He was giving an opinion on Potter's talents at the time. So what?

If his opinion has changed, he needs to say that too. If he genuinely has, I think Potter is decent and honourable enough to accept it.

The squad will see a leader in Robbie who has learnt a lesson in life and I think they'll forgive him too.

So, Potter's happy and confident in his position, the team has a better opinion of their captain and Robbie has to play out of his skin (as he usually does) to win back the respect of all of us fans who have been dismayed by how things have played out. There doesn't have to be a win (Potter) - lose (Robbie) situation.

Will egos get in the way? Robbie's? Ayoub's? I am convinced Potter's won't

But, it takes a lot of courage to do, what I think, Robbie has to do.

IMO, his courage as a player can never be questioned. His commitment to our club can never be questioned. He is a genuine superstar, And, more than anything , he is probably one of the most intelligent NRL players going around.

You can do it, Robbie! But, it won't be easy.

And, as a member for 12 years and a Tigers' fan for more than 40 years, my respect for you won't be diminished one bit.

It would be a supreme act of leadership on your part.

Youd think if he told tallis, then he wouldve probably confided those same feelings to those closer to him at the club

As mentioned beofre, if he did say and think that its no crime, we all have opinions, I wont give mine of my boss….but he shouldnt be judged on what he thinks he should be judged on how he plays

I tend to think relinquishing the (C)...or having dual (C)s would be a good thing, with the alternate (C) doing more talking, Robbie wears his heart on his sleeve too much, is emotional and egotistical....it can get in the way of his leadership

Chinese whispers. 12 months ago Robbie says to Tallis , off the record, Potter is struggling. Which was a fair assessment at the time.

Tallis, 12 months later, recalls it as Robbie says he can't coach. Tallis should keep his trap shut. An ex-footballer, hack journo fuelling an already raging fire

Or he could be absolutely correct in his recollection.

In fairness to Tallis, he was being pressured by Farah's agent as to who he got his info from. His agent, assuming that Tallis woudlnt reveal it was Farah himself, didnt get the result he was after. His agents manouvering has made Farah look like a goat.

Tallis is going to tell all on the Matty johns show after tonight's game ….should be interesting viewing !

Robbie may have said those things about Potter . You have to know in what context & when it was said. If say it happened the day after Potter benched him you could imagine Robbie could have said anything. Most people are guilty of saying something they regret at some stage of their life. The quicker we move on from this the better.

And, if it's true, Robbie can make it all "move on" quickly. But, there has to be a preparedness to help it happen.

His (Tallis') view of the world. People always here and recall things differently. The point is journos should never reveal their source. I don't know what was said 12 months ago. We never will. But, I did see Robbie speak on Sunday and his interview on the Tigers site from Saturday which is now there in full. He publicly supported Potter in both.

I prefer to believe what I see rather than heresay. Clearly there are forces trying to remove Potter. I don't believe Robbie is one of them.

Yeah, that was a pretty impressive few minutes in this whole saga.

Since when is Tallis a journalist? Is it because he's on TV? Does this make Blocker Roach and Jamie Rogers journalists aswell?
