Ayshford injury last 10 seconds.

I am not opposed to Pritchard or Davis coming in on principal but I do believe we are better sticking with guys working in the existing structure like a Flanagan or even a Fulton. Moltzen will have to defend the centre slot regardless as that is where he is best and his pace matches Tonga's but they will likely run numbers at that egde with LOD and Mason the most likely candidate. A Fulton or Flanagan has the stamina and can read the game well enough to hill the halves slot in defence and both are capable in attack.

Most importantly it means the least change possible with an extra forward or two slotting onto the bench who have both played minutes in the current structure this year.

Just my opinion but it will be interesting come Saturday night to see what happens.

After Moltzens defensive effort today,no way will Sheens have him lining up against Tonga.
Ditto for Daniella,a notorious non defender.
Flanagan played lock & five-eighth for Wigan,& looks to have bulked up so unlikely to be candidate at centre.
Think he'll have to play Pritchard unless he is on the complete outer with Sheens
Anybody but Fitzhenry surely!

Moltzen defended in the halves slot today from my watching and it failed badly. Don't know why he and Ayshford swapped from last year

Agree 100%. Moors to come in most likely. It would allow Payten to stay in the back-row if need be. Though I don't think Fitzhenry will be named again if he got no minutes today. If the Ayshford injury is a few weeks or longer though, a more long-term replacement will be called upon.

Rhys Pritchard will have to get the call up. I think Mitch Brown will move into the centres and Pritchard will play on the right wing.

If he is out I would hope to see Flanagan moved to right centre, Moltzen to defend in the centre slot to defend against Willie Tonga. No Daniella, no Fitzy and no player yet to debut. Keep it simple. Bring another forward onto the bench and continue on.

Better still just hope he is 100%

Has Flanagan played centre before? Could be an interesting move.

This is the whole reason i hate players being pigeon holed as a left or right player. Someone like Josh Davis could slip straight in, but he plays on the left for Wests, so we have no idea if he can handle the right. All lower grade players should be switched around, making sure they are comfortable on either side of the field.

Josh Davis would be my choice as he is a hard runner and a solid unit who won't get steamrolled in defence. Flanagan might be an option but I'm not sure whether he would have the pace to handle Tonga who does go in and away very well on opponents.

i would like the back row to look like this against the cows
1.lazarus
2.lote
3.lawrence
4.ryan
5.brown
6.benji
7.moltzen

I could see that happening although I'd be loathe to take Ryan away from fullback.

It looks like he may have collected a boot whilst pushing the raiders winger out… although it's very hard to see from the replay.

Flanagan has speed as shown against Parra when put through that gap just after half time and the kid can defend.. i think obvious choice for centre up against Tonga. Don't put a kid on debut against one oft he best centres in the game ATM. They may be good… but NSW cup compared to NRL is like A-League to the EPL... world above. Bring in Moors and Cayless onto the bench... Fulton being the utility, Moors playing a roving wide second rowers roll.

I would prefer to just bring someone up, rather than move players around, again. Things seem to be working at the moment with the players playing where they currently are.

I think Daniela will be a straight swap for Ayshford. Daniela's best position is centre. Not sure if he is the best option, but I'm prepared to give him a chance there.

God no! Tonga will make him look like a school kid!

bad luck for injury to Blake Ayshford.
whilst having him in the centres, you got the feeling there would be no major issues there.
hope all goes well for his recovery.
although he does not get alot of raps, he is important part of a potent wests-tigers backline
