Has this guy had one decent game all year?

He has been pathetic, abysmal, horrible all season. His defense is absolute garbage.

Yet every week he's named in the team. And he'll be named next week too.

This is the problem. No matter how badly players perform they are never accountable. Never dropped. Never forced to perform.

What the hell has happened to this bloke? At the start of the year, based upon his '10 and '11 form I had him pushing for a possible SOO berth. He has been aweful all year.

he has certainly mastered the teapot stance– hands on hips.

particularly after the opposition has scored against us.

doesn't show much emotion either.

his mind is obviously somewhere else.

I am honestly done talking about player performances.

it comes down to the guy coaching them, that is the end of the story. If they underperform nothing happens, they have zero incentive to perform and are chopped and changed to accomodate the mongoloid in the headphones whims.

He was one of our better players. Can you watch the game back and find these substandard moments then reply with the time on the clock. I'd like to know what you are talking about.

I was concerned about him late last year and what you said is right on the mark.

Recently commentators on one of our games suggested the other side were attacking Benji's defence but I think they were most likely attacking down that side because of Ayshford.

I agree that his defence is ordinary but unfortunately he has plenty of mates there which is why I'd be giving our defence coach the boot before Ayshford because in general the teams' technique is woeful.

But in attack the poor bloke has been given little to work with. Apart from the 'give the ball to Benji' play, we have nothing. Usually they just pass the pill to Ayshford and say do your best, and he actually does okay with that because he is pretty strong.

The positive is that Ayshford is still young enough to play a lot of footy under a different coach which is where he will probably come into his own.

We don't have a strong side defensively anymore sorry We are weak up the guts ,we are weak left side ,we are weak right side ,we are weak under the high ball , we are weak with our slide defence , we are weak with our up and in defence , we are weak with a compressed line , we are weak with our defensive line speed , we are weak with our man on defence , we are weak with our kick chase , we are weak with our kicking game , we are weak mentally and we are weak with with earning the right to go sideways , we do it because it is the easy way

No more bloody short cuts boys , man up or there is the door

It has been an awful year in all concepts.
Had a good run in '10 and '11 now it seems its taken it out of us.

I miss his 2011 form :frowning: he was my favourite player last year but now he's not even close. I think and hope that he'll be the bench "back" next year but also used in the forwards if needed. Pack on an extra 5kg and he would be a good offloading backrower

Daniela and brown were better players then him ad probably on half his wage.unfortuately they weren't in the cool group

Another young guy burned by Sheens….

I'm not supporting Sheens tactically as a coach, but who are these "other yougn guys" he burned?

C'mon it is CK posting

Who do you think it will be

Apart from the one you refer to , happy , I think Miller , Groat , Humble , Politini and Simona would also feel a bit burnt by the way he has used them this year.
Also don't think it helped Lawrence's confidence when he played out of position at 5/8.

Problem is we don't have a good enough replacement. We have solid players that can fill the role but that is a real weak spot for us and I feel we shouldve chased a 2nd centre rather than all the extra forwards. For the guys that follow the 20's closely, whats Nofoaluma like at centre? I hear big raps on him as winger but I think we've got that spot filled so maybe he could slot in at centre?

That says it all.

I stand corrected. At the game I didn't notice Blake do anything wrong but now that I've had time to watch the replay I can honestly say:

**_AYSHFORD DROPPED A BAD PASS AT THE 75 MINUTE MARK!!!_**

which clearly explains our 44 point drumming.
