I was pretty impressed last night with some of their young guys.

I thought Beale and the two wingers are good propects and was wondering what the chances are of getting a couple of them.

I thought Glenn and Gillett played pretty good also, but when the big guns come back, they are all out…..

Any thoughts.....
 
they played well, i reckon gillett is a special player. although lets be honest … it was only parra that they beat
 
Dude it was Parramatta, even we will look good next week. Still wouldn't mind signing some of their forwards seeing as Humpty doesn't think we will need any next year!
 
You just have to admire their attitude, yes it was only Parra but they still had to turn up. I would be happy if all our senior players showed the enthusiasm and attitude of these kids!

Plus a lot of the team played in Perth last week. Unfortunately for WT that would have been an excuse for a sub-par performance this year.
 
IM a fan of the baby broncoes, in addition to the youngsters we saw last night who all look great, they have Jordan Khahu who looks to be very good…..i think there may be a premiership in that bunch
 
I'm just gald the 'Baby Broncos' beat someone other than us this time lol.

Amazing culture up there in Brissy! Every year, without fail, these young guys just step up and play like seasoned players when their senior players are missing. Wish our mob could be like that. I thought it was because of Bennett's influence, but he can't be credited for the development of these new guys. Beale would be handy - good at fullback and five eighth. I believe he is off contract next year, but seriously, why would he leave there?

I think Glenn and Gilett would be in the Broncos side even at full strength. They're not going anywhere.
 
Gillett and Glenn are definite starters at full strength . Gillett is going to be a superstar of the game in the future . The baby Broncos if they had to back up week after week would struggle . It is easy for teams to be get up for one performance . Doing it week to week is a different matter however
 
The difference is Brisbane give their young stars a go - we generally let them run around in U20s then move them on to state cup until they are picked up by someon else.

I think Beale would be a great pickup for fullback.

Look at the Broncos side Pretty good on paper . Harrison ,Tate,Prince and Parker (origin players ) Class wise that side was way better than ours
 
Call me childish but I sniggered every time the commentators pronounced Gagai :roll Not that there's anything wrong with that (/disclaimer)

Maitua looked very dangerous. Just in time to play against WT :frowning:

I bet his teammates give him some interesting nicknames. I thought his name would be pronounced gag-eye. He's a good player.

Except for say Rob Lui, Simon Dwyer, Andrew Fifita, Chris Lawrence, Benji Marshall, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Matthew Groat, Tim Simona, Robbie Farah, Liam Fulton, Jacob Miller etc etc

Apart from Lewis Brown who has really kicked on at other clubs who wasn't forced to move because we had better players in his position (e.g. Isaac De Gois)?
