The sooner this mob leave the game the better. Today they have a picture of Benji with the word 'BRAWL' written underneath him and a picture of others including Brett Stewart with the word "Fued" written underneath him.

Since when was Benji's incident a Brawl??

Daily Telegraph and News Ltd disgust me.

We can only imagine how hard they will attack league when they separate from the game. Hacks like Andrew Webster and Dean 'Bull$£!t' Richie disgust me.

Their bias and sensationalism is disgraceful. It came to light during the super league war and has got worse ever since.

But, in its favour, it has much more league than any other paper.

I agree, they are truely a disgraceful media outlet.

It's almost like they tried to squeeze every little drop of drama, that has already been delt with, and create the end of the world. The reality is nothing happened the day before that has not already been delt with.
So what if Manly are having a bit of a whinge, Benji has been done to death, Gambling circus happned six months ago and who cares if Anu had a couple of words with Cleary.

There is nothing there but they've managed to create "The End Of Times".

Best thing to do is not buy their crap.

Totally agree and don't Manly officials have short memories The main reason why Stewart was stood down was his behaviour BEFORE the incident . Benji's behaviour was exemplary before incident . And they were bloody lucky that Watmough wasn't stood down as well At least our coach doesn't rip doors off hinges (in view of cameras anyway ) Worry about the Storm this weekend not us and NRL

**To it's detriment**, it has much more **gossip** than any other paper.

Edited for accuracy.

Very true BB. For an entity that should be promoting it's parent company's investment they're doing a better job at laying the slipper in with every opportunity, and the proverbial will hit the fan when News leave the game.

Gronks like Ritchie and Webster should be working for English gossip tabloids. Can't entirely fault them though when they have a boss like Phil Rothfield masquerading as a "respected" sports journalist.

Hi everyone

I saw a copy of the Sunday Telegraph when in Sydney on the weekend and there was an ad for a team photo of the Tigers.

So first thing Monday morning I went to my local newsagent (in Orange) and guess what - they were only available to the Sydney Metro area. I was not happy!!!!

I didn't even want to read the rag - just wanted a poster - worth paying a dollar for that.

Anyone have a copy they dont want??

Brett Stewart was stood down for being drunk, yet it was found in the court case he was not drunk at all. Gallop should just come out and admit he stuffed the whole Brett Stewart situation up.

On a side note has anything come of Brett Stewart's legal proceedings with News (defamation), I've heard he rejected a settlement offer they made a few months back, has anything happened since then (past 2-3 months?) hopefully Brett gets every cent he can out of those grubs.

Brett Stewart in the days thereafter came out and said he was so drunk he did not know what he was doing. This was then recinded by his legal team months before the trial.

The whole Brett Stweart thing is ridiculous.

Manly are having a whinge because the NRL are talking about the Stweart case but nothing was said until Des ran his mouth off at their launch. If he said nothing it would be dead and buried.

Manly brought this on themselves and are now the ones crying foul.

Hopefully once Friday comes around and the footy starts we can start talking about whats happening on the field

Hi Tigergran  …
... yeah i walked 10 minutes just for that poster  ...
must admit its pretty big and stands out in my room...

I do buy the rag in question as I am an avid crossword fan but in general I have nothing but Cross Words for the paper that is a part owner of the game and is owner of the Dally M's.
To compare the last week or so to the Charlie Sheen melt down is sheer sensationalism, this media oraganisation is supposed to promote the game not denigrate it.
I was in Victoria on the weekend and happened to be given a copy of the Herald-Sun the Terrorgraphs sibling, in the weekend sports liftout 2/3's of it was devoted to gAyFL and all of it positive stuff, (and not surprisingly no RL news even though they own the Storm) imagine what would happen if this tabloid actually got behind our sport instead of dragging it down.

Hi Tigergran I have one you can have pm me to arrange delivery ..it,s maybe to big to post ..we go to a lot of games maybe give it that way.

the telegraph will print anything.
best way to annoy them is not buy their product.
don't know why manly are whinging.
its in the past.
leave it there.
only going to have them people despise them more.
that's if you can.

If i were Des i'd be keeping my trap shut. He thinks that because Stewart got off in court that the matter is done and dusted. It may have been cleared in the courts but certain people know the real truth behind that case and Manly shouldnt be using this opportunity looking for pity or apologies on what happened to their fake role model Brett Stewart.

Anyone that has lived in UK will understand what the Daily Telegraph is about, pure tabloid junk.

You are 100% correct on both counts.
