No.1 Robbie supporter :supporter: . I think you'd romp it in over Buderus if you were in the NSW SOO team.
I am so sorry that these gits are causing such a storm that your chances are getting ruined.

I remember after the 2009 series loss alot of comments from former blues and respected commentators saying that Farah is quite difficult the work with. Not as a person, but his playing style doesn't suit a team that is built over 2 weeks.

He doesn't just slot into a team, which is what Ennis and Buderus can do. Farah plays well for us because we've had 7 years to construct our team structure around Benji and him. The same doesn't happen in an Origin team.

I just don't see this as being true. Farah in my opinion was terrible when he played SOO but that had nothing to do with his style of play.

Also he slotted straight into the city/country game with no problems.

People are just looking for excuses for him to not be there. He deserves another chance.

Probably could have been put in the other three threads about - Sheens, Stuart, Roach - and any other new threads about people who jump on the publicicty bandwagon.
In the past I believed Robbie to be a great Tigers team player (only) but thought Robbie proved something more than Tigers play in the City team this year.

What about City? He nailed that game and worked very well with Jnr Jnr.

I think that Ricky would have Ennis and Hinchcliffe both ahead of Robbie… Maybe even De Gois after the article Ricky published...

While I feel Robbie is the best option for NSW, DeGois wouldn't be out of his depth playing Origin. If your looking for a 'made for origin' type of player, Isaac is the man!

As a Qlder they would worry me more than anyone else

You'd think the City captain would have the advantage over a bloke who couldn't even be stuffed playing in the so-called selection trial.

Would it really surprise you all if it was just a beat up to get captain cranky to really turn it on in the next few weeks and make it very hard to not pick him?

haha Rowdy was joking that ennis would get picked ahead of farah off air on fox.

GOLD!!!!

Well he's probably got the following ahead of Robbie: Ennis, Buderus, Hinchcliffe, De Gois, Ballin, Friend, Benny Elias, Seal, Keith Urban, Isaac Luke, Lewis Brown, Mario Fenech, Rita the Eta eater, Cam Smith's long lost brother living in Mudgee, Sally Robbins, Ian Thorpe, Agro, the guy who does the voice overs on the Harvey Norman ads, Ken Callendar, Richie Callendar…

If all of them are unavailable he may consider Farah

On that note you can add most of the female cast of the last series of underbelly.. they looked to have some skill as hookers

Robbie is definitely the man for the SOS job as has already been said he did a great job for City & he always gets picked as Cameron Smiths understudy for the Australian team,I really think Blocker is entitled to his opinion but what a lot of people forget Farrah played wounded when he got his first shot at Origin & really didn't do himself any favours but if we want to get the SOS trophy back we need to pick the best players & Robbie certainly fits that bill.

Key to beating Qld… Score more points!

Robbie gives them more creativity and this alone should be why he is picked ahead of Ennis & Buderus. They got to go 100 miles an hour to score More points!

(Yeah yeah, I know another Laurie wisdom piece.)

That may be the best way to do it watto but the nsw brainstrust wants to do it this way…....
Plan A: Hold the opposition to nil with our team of "built for origin" players, niggling them into errors, then jag a late field goal for a 1 nil victory.
If the opposition gets an early penalty goal?
Plan B: Oh well, better luck next year.

Lol!!! Seriously, what does Robbie have to do to get picked IMO should be the number 1 choice, on C v C form alone if it's a genuine origin trial ( I doubt it) he should get the gig without a doubt.
