IMO we're ball playing too much. Guys like Ice and Klemmer need to be running it straight more. Kepaoa is the only forward not thinking pass when they get the ball.

I agree we are ballplaying too much. My point about bringing a ball playing lock in is actually designed to create more straight hard running rather just tossing it around like we are now. The lock condenses the middle allowing room on the edge for players to run straight and hard. Currently we are shifting the ball all over searching for a hole we haven't bothered to create. It looks terrible.
He was but he once again didn't do what is supposed to be HIS job. If he was our 5/8 he'd have performed well today in a bad bunch, but he did not do any of the things required of the halfback

I think this is a complete misread of Brooks. He was our 6 today and he was our best player. We don't have a game controlling 7. The other guys didn't do their job today not Brooks.
I know he had the 7 jumper but he isn't that guy and he isn't playing like it because it's not his game.
But that is his position and he isn't fullfilling it. Despite being paid $1.1 mill to do so

Not really. Firstly he is overpaid. No doubt. I wouldn't offer him half that money now and I wouldn't offer that money unless he shows me good form for another 8 weeks.
Secondly he has been playing as a running half (like a 6) for a while now. He was in that role last year when Madge was coach and his role hasn't changed.
Doueihi got plenty of opportunities today and he is in the exact same position as Brooks. The difference being that Doueihi was really poor defensively and with the ball. Doueihi made way more mistakes.
I get your argument that Brooks is our overpaid halfback and he isn't delivering. I don't doubt that. It's a dumb contract.

Agree need a 6 as AD is a much better center but Moses is not the answer.

Mate … we all dislike him but believe me Moses is the only currently quality available answer.
But I think that bird has well and truly flown.
