Ball to Utai

I am sure there have been quite a few occasions (including one that I can remember tonight) where the ball SHOULD have gone to Utai but it didn't - nowithstanding his heart stopping moments, he can still finish a try, so he has a right to blow up as he does…

Yeah he should have been fed the ball a lot more especially close to their line. Its like we only use him to batter us out of trouble coming off our own line.

Having said that, pretty unhappy game from him tonight. He was our weak link I thought. Expect big things from him next week.

I thought Utai tried his guts out again tonight. No way our weak link. I'm not too sure we had a weak link tonight.

He made a few unforced errors and was rounded up a few times. He is too slow to be so far infield when his opponent is so quick.

Our right side defense was outplayed for the majority of the game but our scrambling got us home.

Let me qualify this by saying i think Ayshford has been great this year and is really developing into a good NRL centre but the worst part of his game and always has been is his ability to set up/ deliver the ball to his outside man. It is because he carries the ball in one hand and hasn't got the passing skills but he never has been able to set up his outside man and they always suffer for it - even early in the season when Utai was scoring tries and making breaks it was either him on his own and Benji cutting out Ayshford. Blake needs to work on this so I take quite a bit of the blame away from Utai. He runs, hard, tries hard and while he gets shown up occasionally he really makes up for it with his hard running and committment but then again Beau is in the form of his career. If Lawrence is out then beau to the left centre position with Brown outside him. If everyone is fit perhaps Beau to fullback

Mixed bag tonight definitely. He was responsible for the roll on we got getting out of our half most of the time. But come up with a few silly mistakes. Considering the blokes been solid all season, I am not overly concerned or care.

He can definitely bulldoze teams just needs to get in the game more (should follow "The Beast" Manu Vatuvei's lead on how to go about things).

I tend to agree about Blake hasn,t got a lot of skill in the ball playing area yet but can work on it, unfortunatly if your outside of him you catch a cold.
