There’s a difference between the Magpies and the people running the Magpies. Since they own the club, you can essentially say WT’s are a cancer as well. It’s the individuals running the club. Not the club itself.

Funny thing is, if they got the Magpies back in, they’d be better off giving up ownership of that too, because they’re useless as tits on a bull.

I’d be fine with that . The “magpies” are a cancer that permeates through the club . To the point that it either gets cut out and we live with the scars , or it kills the club altogether . Put it this way . If these idiots get what they want and the return of the magpies , the club is dead anyway . 80% of the fanbase will walk away at minimum . I’d suggest it’s probably more like 90-95%.
For me I’d actively join any other club and death ride the magpies forever . Probably the bears if I’m honest , or if the easts tigers do get an nrl licence , then them .
Magpies fans are absolutely delusional . They think that the current club as it stands , would just have a little outrage , lose a few punters , then get on with life . The club will be destroyed .

The Magpies will never get in as a standalone NRL team- people in club land should realise that. That era of administration and club finances have passed them bye- and Balmain Tigers too. I support Wests Tigers in NRL but continue to support Wests Magpies in the State Cup- just me, but financing / owning 90% has to give some scraps of bone to WSM.
