i see justin made the balmain squad and the canterbury squad and was offered to balmain for a 4 k transfer fee in which they declined ....
 
There seems to be a lot of brother stuff going on in the Tigers up and coming sides, are Maile & Leva Li twins?, what about the Funakis, twins or just born within the 12 months.
What about the bench in the Harold Matthews, has the club depth or what?.
 
Miale and Leva are brothers, Miale is the year younger, the Funaki's are probably related but no are not brothers. Salesi is a year younger than Lolo.
Don't like to comment too much on the Matts but from what I have seen thus far the reserves they have used have gone well. They have 2 forwards who IMO are very close to getting a start in the top team, Adrian Hraibi was very impressive in the trials but didn't play last week.
The Ball have Luke Brooks and Faseo Tatola coming back from injury and both would usually be in the starting team so things are looking good for them. The coach is giving the boys who haven't played as yet a run which shows the depth the team has, we will miss our regular wingers but the 2 younger boys we have there this week have both got plenty of talent.
 
Good luck flash..Balmain Boys are going real well..should be another win for you guys and maybe top spot.

Another thrashing for the magpies coming up.

CC are really talking up their Matts side this year. Not sure if they're too biased or there is some truth to it but I was at an event with their coaching staff and they had massive wraps on the team.
 
Get there Yoss and check it out. Grass roots footy is a great day out, nothing better than a steak sandwich standing against the fence watching footy :slight_smile:

Max scored 3 tries last week but he is a winger, a number of players have been rested to give the boys who haven't had a run yet a hit out. The forwards are pretty much the same but Max, Paul Simona, Nathan Milone and Mark Daoud have been given the week off, in come Maile Li, Chris Moana, Rhys Armstrong and Luke Brooks.

Well it's 5 minutes away from my house and the wife will be at work anyway so yeah I think I'll down a steak sandwich and take a look.

Thanks Blackandwhite, I think if we have some luck with injuries we should win the majority of games and who knows from there. I notice Harry Grove is back this week for Wests, hopefully they perform a bit better this week.

I see in today's local paper that the grandstand at Woy Woy Oval is closed due to structural problems. Anyone got info on whether the game is still there or being moved?
 
Yoss, It is still at Woy Woy but looks like we won't be sitting in the Grandstand. If I find out anything different I will post it on here.
