Game week 22 is now past tense, scores are in, and we're 58% of the comp down.
Yes, to echo those famous Tom Petty lyrics, we're all "Learning To Fly."
And yes, FPL still continues to tease and amuse and everything befuddling!
Well done everyone; no matter what your score was, it’s only the 22nd week down of a long 38 week season, so onward and upwards from here.
But beware: the Game-weeks are in rapid fire mode - so keep watch for when new game weeks start.

#1 Real SoSoBad (@vlad) has skipped up to top spot this week with 1260 points
#2 Bon Vivant (Mrs tiger_one) has dipped this week down to 2nd position with 1256 points
#3 Too De Ligt to Quit (@Leica_Tiger) remains in 3rd position with 1213 points
#4 Laroche (Tiger_one) remains in 4th position with 1203 points
#5 Slip Slot Slap (@WesternSuburbsBoy) holds a steady 5th spot, on 1176 points
#6 Eze does it (@mtd#2) maintains 6th position on 1137 points
#7 Delta Blues (@guyofthetiger) maintains 7th position with 1133 points
#8 Fleet Feet (@Criz) holds steady in 8th position on 1093 points

So BANG!!
Our leader board shows just how close the scores are, right down the ladder.
In another very tight and low scoring round (especially remarkable that scores were so low and so close, our leader board positions remained exactly as they were, before and after the game-week, , where there were "goodies" and some "not so goodies" (and again sadly for some, Haaland disappointed his fans), our comp again highlights both how tough consistent scores are week in, week out, and the fickle nature of scoring points or not.
This round, our points spread was close, from a low 27 up to a high of 50 points: well done to Delta Blues (@guyofthetiger) - with extra congrats to all our above-average (ie 40 points across the entire FPL comp) scores this week in a tough, very low-scoring week of scores.

Finally, just as a tinsy incentive to maybe help, Saturday January 24 is "Just Do It Day."
So this is a round of tipping that just needs you to ignore the noise, don't grasp for others' misinformation - just look deep inside and trust your inner voice - and Just Do It!
When in doubt, follow your gut. It's now time for each of us to ignore all the outside "maybes" and pick those you believe are going to bring home the bacon!
Then, the points just fall into place .......
Yeppers! Rely on our inner voices, go with the vibes, trust our guts and gather the points.
A deeper look actually reveals what each of us are doing as we compete week after week in our fantasy comp: We're going head to toe (metaphorically) one against the other - and this week, we have no where to hide.
Again, it's us versus our forum buddy, besties otherwise, but during Game week 23, again it's personal!
Having spent all that time pre-comp just to select the best players who might perform in this fantasy arena, then all the constant juggling/swapping in all the ensuing 22 match-weeks since, it sure can feel like our player choices need a revamp or two.
Decisions, choices and trust! WOW! Fantasy football really is FUN!
So this week, do what's needed.
Research etc., but simply maintain our faith and let the scores look after themselves.
Like, what could go wrong?
The magic will happen.
The steps we take ensure it, point after point!

Here, with this season’s H2H comp having 9 entrants, being a weekly format of mate against mate, we have 4 winners, with the other player against “ FPL average.”.
Congrats to Game week 22 winners, being Too De Ligt to Quit, Slip Slot Slap, and Real SoSoBad, while the official" game leader board states that Bon Vivant and Delta Blues shared a tied game 46 all, while the FPL average defeated Fleet Feet..
After Game week 22, the leader board now shows more change:
In a still-very congested leader-board, Laroche maintains a narrow lead with 45 points.
Slip Slot Slap and Real SoSoBad are up this week and join Eze does it, all now together on 39 points
Bon Vivant is then joined by Too De Ligt to Quit, each together on 34 points
Delta Blues is now up to 30 points, Relegation FC remains on 27 points, with Fleet Feet rounding the game week off with 22 points.
WOW!!
I know it's just over half way into our comp but these scores are amazing and shows just how tight our comp is.

So, after the team selections, the tinkering, and then the actual games – our comps are well and truly up and running, with actually 58% of the comp down.
And while our EPL games seemingly take preference, there's the added input for some teams to also have to balance extra games in the Champions League, Europa League, Carabao Cup etc., so players will be rested, injured, carded - all the things which mystify FPL players'
The FUN (???) of a long season to come is happening.
