Beau Knows Jack

i heard that CH 9 are going to axe the "Beau Knows" segment for next week and replace it with a 5 minute highlight package of his game last night…......Now that will be real comedy

I don't want to be too critical of his performance last night. Every player has a bad day from time to time, and well Beau, found his last night. I have no idea what went wrong but it looked disastrous…

I do however want to point out his attitude. Beau's attitude last night was unacceptable and at 1-2 stages last night, I thought I was watching the Footy Show. His behavior after errors was comical, his positioning body language towards the officials was deliberate and embarrassing, and his general sence of teamwork was non existent.

I hope Chris Heighington or Robbie Farah didn't hurt him too much when they got back in the sheds and kicks the crap out of him?!

PS - people have been saying for years that Benji is a Visionary. Well, as Benji comically said, "Beau knows State Cup"!!!

Beau was disgraceful last night. Lote was as well. They combined to lose us that game.

Lote is a great runner of the footy but he has been making far too many mistakes defensively recently. He is becoming a risk.

The Footy Show should put a highlights package of Beau's efforts from that game together, with this music…

How bad can one person play? Ok he had a hand in our first try, but that was aweful, one of the worst performances in a game I can remember. Bring on fitzy!

Mate Ryan combined with Lui and Ayshford defending next to each other after Lawrence was taken off cost us the game

Maybe. I saw Lote turn around to chase a kick he could have got to easily and he didn't. Souths scored. I also saw him and Ryan have a chat when there was a ball to be taken and then Lote dropped it. Not long after Souths scored.

It was real poor imo.

Beau had a bad night. That is it. Every player has at least one for the year (maybe except Ellis). Lets hope this was his.

One thing Beau doesn't know is (Garry) Jack, has Beau actually had any specialised training at Fullback?.

Its my understanding Beau came to the club from the South Coast as a Fullback.

Judging by the Farrell Try, he doesnt have a great understanding of Defending at Fullback. While Lote could of moved in to provide more cover, Beau should of attacked that loose ball instead of staying back on his line. Even if Farrell still got the ball, the play could of been shut down by coming off his line…

I don't think he will be dropped i'm more concerned about Tuquiri for the money hes on should be playing much, much better.

sheens needs to take some reality pills and put ryan, ayshford and the human defence turnstile aka robert lui in state cup for the rest of the year. marshall 1/2, fulton 5/8, latu wing, daniella centre etc etc :imp:

Ryan was a centre for the Dragons and the Magpies before he played for WT…

Dragons win Jersey Flegg
October 2, 2005 - 4:10PM
The Sun-Herald

Hot favourites and minor premiers St George Illawarra had to come from behind before holding off a determined Parramatta fightback to take out the Jersey Flegg rugby league grand final 30-20 at Telstra Stadium today.

The Dragons, who had only lost one game since the third round, twice trailed the Eels and only wrapped up victory **with a try to centre Beau Ryan three minutes from full-time.**

Winger Tom Hewitt was the star with two tries for the Dragons, while five-eighth Josh Lewis, who will join the Sydney Roosters next season, was sensational, scoring one try and having a hand in three others.

Victorious coach Steve Price said he was relieved his side overcame the pressure of favouritism to get itself back in the match.

"Everyone was saying that we were raging favourites. Last time we played them we put 64 on them but they had eight of their players today who have been playing Premier League so we expected a torrid game and we got that," Price said.

"I thought we were making uncharacteristic mistakes throughout the first half which we hadn't really done throughout the year. The guys regrouped and it showed, our No. 6 turned the game in that last 20 minutes."

The Dragons took an early lead after a clever short side play led to Hewitt's first four-pointer of the afternoon, but any thoughts of an easy win were soon dispelled with the Eels scoring twice in the space of four minutes through skipper Michael Basan and winger Simon Micallef to make it 10-4 after 22 minutes.

A try to Lewis just before the break saw the teams go to the sheds locked at 10-10, but again it was the Eels who took the advantage with a try to Krisnan Inu two minutes after the restart, with the winger athletically outleaping opposite Josh Morris and centre Jason Nightingale to go over out wide.

It wasn't long though before Lewis and Hewitt combined to have the Dragons back on level pegging after a brilliant chip and regather from the five-eighth sent Hewitt flying towards the corner for his second.

The Dragons looked like they had wrapped the game up with tries to second rower Chris Houston and Nightingale, but a powerful effort from Eels prop forward Weller Hauraki with seven minutes remaining ensured a tight finish.

St George Illawarra 30 (T Hewitt 2 J Lewis B Ryan J Nightingale C Houston tries J Lewis 3 goals) bt Parramatta 20 (M Basan S Micallef K Inu W Hauraki tries D Williams 2 goals) at Telstra Stadium. Referee: J Robinson.

God knows what Pritchard got to do to get a run he is much better than some of these so called first graders he was great again yesterday and i know a couple of teams are after him so sign him tigers

I wonder how many people give it to him at the fan day, at Concord today.
plain and simple Beau knows how to cost wests-tigers a game.

I cant believe everyone is willing to write Beau off after one bad match, Yes he had a couple of brain explosions last night but every player has a shocker every now and then. And in regards to his dropping of the bomb he was under an air raid all night and took some magnificent catches.
IMO Beau's efforts and the enthusiasm that he brings to the team is irrecplaceable. I thought that today Beau's apology was sincere and believe he'll have a great game next week.

does Beau know hara-kiri?

We will find out on Tuesday when we see the team lists for First Grade and NSW Cup.

Also, Wests Tigers should contact all of the Bunnings stores in NSW and tell them not to sell Beau Ryan rope. Otherwise it could be Beau knows how to hang himself.
