Beau Ryan retires

I hope this doesn't mean they will be able to sign Korobiete. I assume this is the final year of his contract, so the retirement wont necessarily free up cap space….nut it means they need another first grade standard winger.

Good luck on your future endeavours beau, and thanks for the memory's loved watching you play for us, you were a champion player no matter what team you played for

Lucky Benji didn't go there after all…

Good luck for the future Beau!
Was good to have you pull on our jersey.

Maybe they can drop fatty and put Beau in there and start talking footy again. After all it is called the footy show. Not hey hey it's Saturday on a Thursday night with a footy theme.

And if you're reading this beau. Thanks for memories and most of all the first try scorer wins you gave me over the years at the tigers. I'm certainly up on your punts.

Actually I didn't think of that

But they would be able to take Koroibete now

If my understanding of how this all works as Beau has been technically delisted because it has happened before June 30

Beau knows when to retire. Well done mate and good luck. Nice of him to acknowledge and thank the Wests tigers in his announcement. Now get Fatty off that show and make it funny again!

Shame, always gave 100% playing, full of energy, even managed to win us a couple of games.

Extremely popular off the field, good ambassador of the game.

He has put his health and family first, which is understandable and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Channel 9 have put him on fulltime now so we'll still be seeing plenty of Beau.

Absolutely …....... enjoyed following his career and I wish him well in his future endeavours.

Congrats on a good footy career. As mentioned by himself, he didn't have the speed, strength or ability of the gifted players but hard work and determination was how he achieved what he did.

Gotta respect how he felt he couldn't put in 100% for his team mates with his injury and that led to his retirement amongst family and health concerns.

That said, Beau TV on the footy show is cringe worthy for mine. Was funny at first, but looks like very little effort goes into these skits. I hope he can trim that back and start working on different material.

Good luck

He gave everything when he played for the Tigers & Sharks, Saw him play some good Games, Good luck to you Beau in the future.

I reckoned he was really under rated, people always talked about him being a good club man and all that which he was, but he was a pretty good footballer.

He was really good out of dummy half with those jinking runs and quick PTB's and he was a very competent defender, particularly of kicks, and had a good knack of finishing.
