What a myth. He was ordinary in the Grand Final other than one run and pass. He has been ordinary in all our finals matches since. He was ordinary tonight. He is ordinary for NZ every time he pulls the jersey on (except ONCE).

Benji was a passenger tonight. Actually scratch that, he was a speed bump that ruined most of our attacking chances by consistently making the wrong decision. Worst on field by a long way tonight and really needs to re-evaluate his approach to games imo.
 
Him and Blair cost us big time tonight. Both made mistakes 3-4 times between them while we had good field possession. Very disappointing from senior players
 
The worst one was when he threw the forward pass to Blair and Blair got crunched. The winger had rushed out of the line up at Beau Ryan and left Koroibete unmarked. Benji loves that floated ball to the winger and if he had have thrown it there we win the game.
 
Yeah he was bad. His inability to run at the line really limits our options. He really only likes to run when theres a lose ball and players are standing and he just runs to see what happens. But he never runs at the line and attacks it with options each side.

Regardless of decision, we had enough possession to win that game and Benji didn't really offer much, running, passing or kicking
 
Without Farah we have nothing at all tonight.

Robbie should have mailed that field goal, but he was directing everything out there tonight and really got us back in the game.

Marshall's performance by comparison was pathetic.

Yep Mac The real Benji would of seen that

I guess the big question is (and I suppose the same has to be asked of Blair as well ) should we stick with them

If they don't aim up in 2013 do we offload them ??

He passses the ball and doesn't look who he is passing the ball to.

and he looks fat.

but i do love benji.

put him back to five eight.

West Tigers will never cut Benji loose. Benji is worth to much to the club in sponsors and his fan base. The kids all love Benji and with them come merchandise dollars. Although he may loose the next generation if he does'nt stop rationing his magic and pull his finger out.

I wonder what is more important ??

Winning games and premierships and increasing memberships etc that way or

Losing games because our high price talent isn't earning their pay checks on a weekly basis

Kids are like the wind ,if things aren't going there way they will quite happily change

How many kids after last night want to be Ben Barba instead of Benji Marshall or Tim Moltzen

When it comes to the crunch sponsors want results and want the players they back to perform

Benji isn't cutting it against the top sides Simple as that
