Nah, not as yet. Wont be for a while, all the hoopla over his drug and racism incidents will need to be sailing down a long river and under a very large bridge first.

I was talking about Benji not joey

Andrew Johns isnt an Immortal… **And I doubt he ever will...**

😱pen_mouth:

if joey was a qlder watto wouldnt be saying that. ofcourse he wont admit it though

Alien, I'm not biased. In my opinion, Joey doesnt deserve to be an immortal. My understanding is the Immortal tag is not for Club Football. It is for achievements at National Level and on that notion, Joey hasnt achieved any great heights. I'm sure they now factor in performances at Origin Level, but again, while his record is pretty good, it is somewhat lacking to that of players like Brad Fittler & Mal Meninga…

I believe Joey is on the same level as Sterling and N Proven. All 3 were the best Club Footballers the game has ever seen, but unfortunately, thier records at National Level are somewhat shy...

I'm a traditionalist, and I dont want to see the 'Immortal' tag dragged down to the false levels of the Dally M's...

Go the Bulldogs!!!

Benji is the most naturally gifted rugby league player I have ever seen. While I have little doubt he will eventually become the greatest player in the game… he still has another 10 years of footy ahead of him. Way to early for anything like that to be even considered.

Agreed he's blown his chance.

Still reckon Benji should be an immortal? Alot of people are getting carried away I'd say.
