we are so used to farah absolutely destroying teams that when he has a quiet game or 2 it looks like he is down or out of form when in actual fact he is still playing well. there may be a game where he does not turn it on in attack but will make 40+ tackles. the only negative points are the couple of times he tried to go for a 40/20 n kicked out on the full. if those plays come off, he's a genius, if not then he gets label being out of form.
the refs this year have turned a blind eye on his dummy half scoots. at times it is so frustrating to watch coz he catches defenders off side time n time again yet gets no reward for it.
one other important factor to consider is that he has a back operation and maybe towards the end of a long season it took its toll on him.
benji is a freak. they label watmough, hayne n co freaks (and they are excellent players) but benji showed what they can do, he can do better. i wouldnt swap benji or farah for anyone.
what has been shown in the past though is we struggle without farah more than without benji.
either way i love em both.
2010 is a massive year 4 us and the sooner it comes around the better.
