CONFIMED ON FOX SPORTS HE HAS RESIGNED TILL 2016, I HOPE HE CAME REAL CHEAP, WE SEEM TO TAKE ONE STEP FORWARD AND 5 STEPS BACKWARDS, NOT HAPPY WITH THIS.

Rumour, Grant Mayer denied it already about an hour ago. If true it is a huge step backwards after releasing Ayshford and Pettybourne, at least wait and see if Benji improves by next year.

It could be a step backwards but could be a step forward, he was leading the league last yr in lb assists and close in try assists I'm
Sure. If he has signed, I expect
To see some drastic improvements

What a way told hold back Moses..

Mate Moses is an awesome talent but let the kid grow into his body.
He wont be ready til at least 2015

This is the way I see it. Plus there is no guarantee that Brooks or Moses will step up and be first grade stars

We obviously don't know the money involved, but I think this is a fair compromise. Benji has forgone a year and likely has accepted less money.

He drives me up the wall with his rocks or diamonds plays, but I see logic behind this move and agree that our youngsters will take a year or two to develop.

i suspect there is some truth behind the rumor he's resigned. Given he was after an extension till 2017, 2016 would be meeting halfway, which i think would be a fair compromise. However i still feel we don't need this discussion till this time next season. So i do wonder where the truth lies.. The club hasn't been overly keen in extending his deal so why would that change at this time?? If Mayer says it's all bollocks then i'll go along with what he says.

The 2 young halves are a few years away to be running an NRL team around and let's face facts They are EXPECTED to be the next big things( heard that before) wait and see re these 2 .
Obviously a compromise with Benji not a bad thing IMO ,he puts bums on seats and still has plenty to offer, the Tigers do look pretty good when he is on ,just needs Potter to bring it out which I think he can especially with the team he is assembling .Positive about this at least Marshall wants to be at the club.

Benji has re-signed, not resigned! Signing until 2016 will cutoff his options to go somewhere else as he will be 30 by then.

I see this as a good thing for the club, and a great act of loyalty by Benji.
